Point Fermin Park is a 37-acre coastal park operated by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, situated at the southernmost tip of San Pedro along the bluffs of West Paseo Del Mar. The park overlooks the Pacific Ocean, with clear-day views stretching to Santa Catalina Island and the Channel Islands. At its heart stands the Point Fermin Lighthouse, a Victorian-era redwood structure built in 1874 that ranks among the oldest surviving lighthouses on the West Coast. The grounds feature tree-shaded lawns, sheltered pergolas, colorful gardens, a small amphitheater, and a promenade tracing the edge of the palisade cliffs. Picnic areas and a childrens playground round out the facilities. The park serves as a winter habitat for monarch butterflies and offers opportunities to spot dolphins and harbor seals from the blufftops. Wedding ceremony and event permits are available through the Angeles Gate Recreation Center, accommodating gatherings of up to 200 guests outdoors. Joan Milke Flores Park is a coastal outdoor venue operated by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, situated along Paseo Del Mar in the San Pedro neighborhood of Los Angeles. Perched above the Pacific, the park offers sweeping ocean views extending toward Catalina Island, making it a distinctive setting for outdoor ceremonies, picnics, and community celebrations. The park features expansive open grass areas, shaded tree coverage, picnic tables, and paved pathways, along with hiking, jogging, and biking trails throughout the grounds. The entire park is fenced except at the parking entrance, providing a contained and accessible environment for events. Adjacent attractions include Angels Gate Cultural Arts Center, Fort MacArthur Museum, and the Korean Friendship Bell. The Covina Center for the Performing Arts is a historic theater located in the heart of Downtown Covina, California. Originally opened in 1920, the venue has long served as an entertainment and cultural destination for the San Gabriel Valley. In December 2022, the City of Covina acquired the theater to preserve it as a performing arts space and anchor for the city's downtown district. Today, the center operates as a creative performing arts hub offering comedy shows, theater productions, musicals, and private event rentals. A partnership with The Laugh Factory brings regular comedy club performances, including appearances by well-known comedians, to the venue's historic stage. The facility is available for private rental and accommodates a variety of occasions — from weddings and film productions to meetings and community gatherings. Two rental spaces are available: the main theater with its original stage and chandelier-lit auditorium, and a banquet room suited for smaller gatherings.
