White Deer Park Nature Center is a LEED Gold Certified facility operated by the Town of Garner Parks and Recreation Department, set on the edge of forest and wetlands within a 96-acre park in Garner, North Carolina. The 2,500-square-foot building houses an indoor classroom ringed by floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors that open onto the surrounding woodland landscape, along with a large covered outdoor deck. The Nature Center Classroom accommodates up to 60 guests in banquet, theater, or classroom configurations. Rentals include 13 rectangular buffet-style tables, 60 chairs, a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, and a dedicated on-site facility attendant.
