Our love story began many moons ago, when Carolyn offered Robin a scotch and soda (which Robin hates) at a friend’s going away party and he gladly accepted. Borasso Spirits - celebrating the flavors of South Louisiana! Owner and head distiller Ewan Willey founded Borasso Spirits in 2017 after years of experience in Louisiana’s shipping industry. He used shipping principles to devise his distilling process, citing in both processes similar methods by which water, fuel and chemicals are moved. Borasso’s uniquely crafted liquors (rum, gin, vodka and absinthe) use hyperlocal ingredients harvested from right here in Louisiana, celebrate the flavors (and the stories!) of the Gulf South and beyond.
