Taste on Melrose is a West Hollywood neighborhood, go-to restaurant that sits on a chic stretch of Melrose Avenue, just steps away from boutique designer shops. Taste on Melrose welcomes stylish guests to its Atrium featuring a private entrance, kitchen, and bar with a capacity of 150 for standing events or 60 for seated functions, creating an adaptable space for buyouts and catered events. Consistent with the artistic neighborhood in which Taste on Melrose is located, the space incorporates elements from some of the most talented artists and designers in Southern California. Elegant wallpaper from Paul Robinson Interiors provides a colorful backdrop, while a macramé wall sculpture from artist Jim Olarte creates additional drama. Lining the wall above the bar are antiques from local stores which add a residential element. The multipurpose space at Taste on Melrose is also equipped with AV capabilities and a surround sound speaker system. When you dine at Taste on Melrose, guests can enjoy the modern American menu from Executive Chef Brian Sheard with favorites like the White Truffle Mushroom Mac & Cheese and Papaya BBQ Meatballs, paired with seasonal desserts from in-house Executive Pastry Chef Katie Shyne.

Cave B Resort, which includes the Inn (Cliffhouses, Cavern rooms, and Yurts), as well as Tendrils Restaurant & Spa, was purchased by Michael and Helen Yi in the summer of 2017 from its original owners, Vince and Carol Bryan, who founded Cave B. The resort was rebranded as the Sagecliffe Resort and Spa after the Yi family sold their holdings to a private ownership group in December of 2020. Cave B Vineyards, Cave B Estate Winery, Stage B Amphitheatre, our beautiful Piazza, Willow pond, and the majority of the open lands that surround our vineyards were kept by the Bryan family. Aside from the fact that they once shared a driveway and a history, the Winery and the Resort (which includes the Inn, Restaurant, and Spa) no longer have any connection with one another. We are not jointly owned nor managed in any capacity. "The Winemaker's Lofts" can be found a short distance down the road from Cave B Estate Winery, perched precariously on the edge of the cliff. These lofts are privately owned, so they are not a part of Cave B. However, they are just a short walk away and look incredible. Come and take in the breathtaking scenery from the comfort of your own private loft, which features one queen bed, one full bed, and one twin bed (sleeping a total of four people), as well as a cozy sitting area, a small refrigerator, a bathroom, air conditioning, a heater, and your very own grassy picnic area, complete with a chaise lounge, tables, and chairs, and breathtaking views of the river. Reserve both this room and the one next door to accommodate a total of eight guests. In addition to complimentary Cave B wine tasting vouchers, guests will also receive vouchers for free concert parking in the Cave B Gorge concert lot (one voucher per room) (we are also walking distance to the Gorge if you prefer to walk). Daily private infinity pool sessions for two hours with the most breathtaking views are yours to enjoy. Bagged ice for your cooler and a private tasting with Freddy Arredondo, a winemaker who has won multiple awards, are both available as add-ons for an additional fee ( private tastings on non-Gorge concert days). Chic but sophisticated, it looks great in photographs. The natural light is beautiful! To keep our space affordable, set up and clean up is up to you. You may move items, we just ask that you please return them to their original place. Please note that the decorations in the space (such as the swooping cloth pictured in the photograph) changes in accordance with the season. We'd be happy to provide you with information about the specific decorations during your rental time. We do not provide speakers or a sound system. Renters can bring a portable speaker from home for background music. Loud music is not allowed (i.e. if you want to hire a DJ, we are probably not the venue for you). Renters are expected to be respectful of neighbors and keep reasonable noise levels at all times.

Amidst the cozy, intimate, moodily-lit “Tudor Hacienda” décor, Chef de Cuisine Victor Santibanez (in collaboration with Executive Chef Brad Warner) has crafted an upscale Mexican menu designed for sharing with small plates such as fresh ceviches, tacos and salads, as well as more generously proportioned dishes like Roasted Chile Rellano, Lamb Barbacoa Tacos and Carne Asade. Bodega Negra also has a beautiful private dining room, that can hold between 18-24 guests, making it ideal for group dinners, office parties or birthday celebrations.

We are also own a rental company called Design Lab Rentals where we provide event rentals at a discounted price when you book our venue.
