    Wesleyan College occupies a 200-acre wooded campus in north Macon, Georgia, on the National Register of Historic Places, built around a central quadrangle of Georgian Revival architecture that traces to 1928. Founded in 1836 as Georgia Female College, Wesleyan holds the distinction of being the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women — a history that gives the campus its particular character as a setting for celebrations. For private events, the college offers an unusually varied collection of spaces: Anderson Dining Hall seats up to 350 beneath a vaulted ceiling with large arched windows; the grand Porter Auditorium accommodates 1,124 for concerts, ceremonies, and theatrical productions; Oval Hall in the Candler Alumnae Building brings ornate moldings and parquet flooring to receptions and luncheons for up to 250; and Pierce Chapel, opened in 2015 on a knoll overlooking Foster Lake, seats approximately 300 for weddings and memorial services, with a lower-level reception area for around 70.     The Tate House is a historic pink marble mansion set on a 27-acre estate in Tate, Georgia, about 45 minutes north of Atlanta. Built in 1926 by Colonel Sam Tate, the Second Renaissance Revival estate is constructed throughout with rare Etowah Pink Marble quarried nearby, earning it the nickname the Pink Palace. The mansion's grand staircase, mural artwork, marble floors, ornate chandeliers, and numerous fireplaces create a backdrop that reads well in any season. The estate's 19,000 square feet of event space include a 4,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom with a 700-square-foot marble dance floor, a covered Pavilion, a Conservatory designed as a cocktail and evening dancing space, a Speakeasy bar, and three ceremony sites — the garden, the piazza, and the covered Pavilion. The garden terrace is set among six flowing fountains, centuries-old oak, pecan, and black walnut trees, and manicured statuary walks.     Harper Fowlkes House is an 1842 Greek Revival mansion situated on Orleans Square in the heart of Savannah's historic district. Designed by architect Charles B. Cluskey, the three-story residence is appointed with period antiques, original oil portraits, and twelve fireplaces — details preserved since Alida Harper Fowlkes, a noted Savannah preservationist, acquired the property in 1939 and left it to the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of Georgia upon her death in 1985. The venue hosts private events in both its intimate interiors and its generously sized garden. The garden — tentable and accommodating up to 120 guests — is a popular setting for outdoor ceremonies and receptions, and includes a carriage house with a bar and restrooms. Smaller seated dinners for up to 14 guests take place inside the house, with access to the first floor and its period rooms. A professional catering kitchen is available on-site.
