This downtown landmark, which was built in the late 1800s as the city's first public library, is available for weddings and other events. The Library Ballroom is suited for exquisite marriages, with a 45-foot wooden cathedral ceiling, original hardwood floors, warm mahogany and cherry wood finishes, and brilliant stained glass windows. The Library Ballroom offers a variety of indoor venues for your wedding ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, engagement party, anniversary, and other milestones, all with plenty of character, history, and Southern charm. The Grand Ballroom is a warm and inviting facility with customizable layouts that can accommodate up to 175 seated guests and 225 cocktail-style standing attendees. You'll also have access to the Ladies Reading Room, which has cherry wood furnishings, a 50-inch plasma television, and a full sound system. The Luxury Bridal Suite, the downstairs lobby, and the prep kitchen are among the other areas. The building is also handicap accessible and has an elevator for your guests' convenience on your wedding day.   Forsyth Park Inn is a Queen Anne Victorian bed and breakfast built circa 1893 in Savannah's historic district, sitting directly across from Forsyth Park at 102 West Hall Street. The property was originally the winter residence of Captain Aaron Flint Churchill, a celebrated Nova Scotia sea captain who relocated to Savannah after founding the Churchill Steamship Line. Maritime flourishes — rope motifs around the main entrance and twisted rope balusters along the grand staircase — remain from that era. The Harrison Family has owned and operated the inn since 2016. The inn's 12 elegantly furnished guest rooms include soaring 14-foot ceilings, 12-foot doors, and original woodwork, with options ranging from parlor-level suites with mahogany fireplaces to upper-floor rooms with private patios overlooking the park. Each stay includes a full gourmet breakfast, evening beverages with appetizers, and in-house baked sweets.
