Sandhill Tree Farm sits on 75 acres along the Milwaukee River in Grafton, Wisconsin, where a barn built in the early 1900s has been reimagined as an event venue. The property's history stretches back to an 1837 U.S. land patent, and it operated as an agricultural farm for nearly a century before the Ness family acquired it in November 2020 and began cultivating Christmas trees across the grounds. The barn blends its original timber-frame character with modern comforts, including a south-facing viewing deck, outdoor terraced space, multiple bar options, a catering kitchen, and a bride's room, and it accommodates up to 200 guests for indoor wedding receptions, corporate gatherings, and social events. Riveredge Nature Center is a 485-acre nature preserve and event venue in Saukville, Wisconsin, set among prairies, forests, wetlands, ponds, and frontage along the Milwaukee River. As the first independent nature center in southeastern Wisconsin, founded in 1968, Riveredge has spent more than 50 years restoring native ecosystems and hosting environmental education, and offers more than 10 miles of trails for guests to explore. Bub's Irish Pub occupies a historic site in Germantown, Wisconsin that has served as a gathering place since the late 1890s, when the building operated as a dance hall and saloon; bowling lanes were added in the early 1900s and a banquet hall followed in the 1940s. Known through the years as The Town Bowl and later Cactus Cantina & Desert Bowl, the space became Bub's Irish Pub in 2003 and carries on the tradition of live music and community gatherings. The pub offers several private and semi-private spaces for events, including the Guinness Snug Room, Smithwick's Bar Area, Main Stage Bar Area, and Irish Festival Hall, and can host receptions for up to 550 guests across the full venue. The building's tamarack log construction and 2,500-square-foot solid maple dance floor date back to its earliest days as a Big Band-era hall, when acts including Jerry Lee Lewis, Chubby Checker, and Bobby Vee once played its stage. Renamed Memories in 1995 after passing through several owners, the venue keeps its rustic, "rustically elegant" character today, pairing the original hardwood floor and log ceiling with twin stone fireplaces. For weddings and large events, Memories' ballroom seats up to 400 guests and includes a banquet and reception package with hall rental, a buffet meal, wait staff, DJ services, and bartenders, plus a bridal suite for the wedding party.
