The Castle in the Country $3,500 Up to 175 people can be accommodated for Saturday events. The Rustic Chandelier is $2,500 and is available Sunday through Thursday. It can accommodate up to 100 people. The Stagecoach is offering a $1,000 prize every Sunday through Thursday. It can accommodate up to 60 people. Beautifully appointed Bridal Suite with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the grounds and pool area. A private dressing area, vanity stations, and an en suite bathroom round off this luxurious space.   As a result of our desire to be closer to our children and grandkids, we closed the doors of our long-standing San Antonio-based business, Steve Heflin Architect/Builder (www.steveheflinhomes.com), and relocated to the Ft Worth region in 2011. The idea of a commercial venture that would bring together our talents in design, construction, décor, and hospitality sparked our imaginations, and we began daydreaming and planning for it. Our 35 years of marriage, combined with a sprinkling of supernatural guidance, may have prompted the notion of developing a wedding/event venue that was distinct in both style and beauty for our clients. We discovered a 21-acre farm just outside of historic Weatherford, TX, while searching the Fort Worth countryside. Beautiful trees, natural springs, and pasture area are all part of this estate, which has been in the family for 115 years. We began collecting architectural elements such as 300+ year old doors, gables, mirrors, tables, rustic wagons, gates, and benches from Texas and Santa Fe, using the same expertise and attention to detail Steve used in designing beautiful custom homes. These elements will be used in both a Country Chapel and an Event Center, which will be completed in 2018. This is where the journey begins! Construction began when the land was purchased, the move was completed, the designs were drafted, and the road was built. The Brooks at Weatherford, a new community in Weatherford, is taking shape one step at a time. Even as we cherish the opportunity to be near to our children and grandchildren, we are reminded and assured that marriage is worth the effort of remaining together and, more importantly, worth celebrating. Not only do we intend to provide a lovely setting for celebrations, but also a location where people want to hang out and enjoy themselves.   The ranch was purchased in 2014, and the owners first totally restored the white ranch home before building the three-story barn in 2015. The RoseMary Barn was then renovated from a dilapidated 1970s pole barn at the property's back to the lovely white venue it is today. The RoseMary Barn takes its name from the proprietor's mother. The RoseMary Barn is a stunning all-white event and wedding location located about 5 miles from Historic Downtown Mckinney and hotels. White shiplap is used to build the inside walls and ceilings. The venue features a large bridal suite with h/m stations, cable tv+mini fridge, a masculine grooms cabin with cable tv/hook ups for a gaming center+mini fridge, a large outdoor ceremony space shaded by mature trees, a large covered porch for cocktail hour, a bar kitchen for the bartenders, a large catering prep kitchen, and a 40x32 covered pavilion that can be used for a wedding reception. We have a generator in case of power shortages, and we are Uber-friendly, allowing cars to stay overnight if Uber service is required. For our booked wedding groups and/or families, we have on-site over night accommodations in addition to the venue. This two-story barndominium has a cool modern feel to it. It includes a white shiplap kitchen with open cabinetry, gold lights, and a beautiful modern farmhouse vibe. It features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two living areas. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, bedroom #3 has two queen beds, and bedroom #4 has two queen beds. The master bedroom has a king bed with a private bath, bedroom #2 has a queen bed, bedroom #3 has two queen beds, and bedroom #4 has two queen beds. It is a little over 2000 square feet and can sleep up to 12 people. Our three-story barn has it on the second and third floors.

Many clearly indicated paths lead to the location, providing convenient access for the Wedding Party and their guests. The natural scenery also provides fantastic photography options for the entire wedding party and their guests. A Colorado and Industrial motif has been included into the design of the venue itself, which features Cedar beams, black iron trusses, exposed brickwork, vaulted ceilings that reach 30 feet in height, and enormous glass windows on all sides that let the forest and natural light to fill the space. Our Bridal and Groom Suites, which are completely furnished, are accessible via a stairway near the entryway. Each Suite will be large enough to accommodate entire bridal parties as they prepare for the big day, and it will be equipped with its own shower, bath, vanities, mirrors, and windows to let in plenty of natural light. Without any additional price, users can choose to have a sound bar or sound system decorations installed on their system. Access to the bridal and groom suites are provided. The cost of engagement and bridal picture shoots on the property is included in the package price.
