Whether you are planning a wedding, anniversary party, bridal shower, tea party, dinner party, luncheon, or other special event, Michabelle Inn is the ideal location for groups ranging from 20 to 350 people. In addition, our front grounds are open for outdoor wedding celebrations, and they provide a range of settings and vistas for your event. Our Pavilion Ballroom can accommodate parties ranging in size from 50 to 350 individuals. The dining rooms in the main house can accommodate groups ranging from 20 to 40 people. The Main House Dining Rooms are only available for groups of 20-40 people who have made a previous reservation. Guests can enjoy private gatherings (teas, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, formal or casual receptions, etc.) and intimate meals for groups of 20 to 40 individuals in the main house of Michabelle. Lunch and dinner menus can be tailored to meet your specific requirements. Michabelle Inn offers a range of wedding packages to meet your preferences, whether you are searching for a small outdoor ceremony/elopement or a large wedding and celebration. Michabelle has a long-standing wedding clientele and can host events both indoors and outdoors. When the weather permits, outdoor ceremonies are held on the front grounds of the main house on the estate. The ceremony will last approximately one hour. Please make reservations for the rehearsal times that you wish to attend. In addition, we have a Bridal Dressing Room available for your convenience. Customers who have booked wedding ceremonies or receptions at Michabelle Inn are the only ones who are permitted to take wedding photographs on the property. All other photography must have the owners' PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL before it can be used. There are no exceptions. This policy will be rigorously adhered to. Wedding receptions are hosted in the Pavilion Ballroom, which can accommodate 50 to 350 guests for a cost of $24 per person plus tax and service (alcohol not included). With the exception of wedding cakes, no outside catering businesses are permitted. We provide a number of bar services in a variety of packages that may be customized to meet the needs of any budget. Michabelle is responsible for providing and serving all alcoholic beverages in accordance with state legislation. We also have 150 parking spaces available on the premises. The standard reception duration is restricted to three hours per person. It is only permitted to bring in outside suppliers to provide flowers, decorations, and the wedding cake.

Located on a 300-acre strawberry and produce farm in Amite, Louisiana, The Berry Barn is a rustic country wedding venue with a rustic charm. It is located in the heart of Tangipahoa Parish, just off Interstate 55 and Highway 51. It is accessible by car or on foot. The rustic charm of the barn, combined with the picturesque backdrop, makes for an absolutely stunning backdrop for your special day. Infrastructure and Capacity The Berry Barn offers a variety of options for your wedding ceremony and reception, and it can accommodate up to 600 guests in total. Your outdoor ceremony can be held behind the barn, where your guests will sit on wooden benches and you will be under an arbor decorated with string lighting and chandeliers for a romantic atmosphere. Another option for an outdoor ceremony is the area outside of the rustic chapel that they have on the property. Ceremonies can be held inside The Berry Barn if the weather is nice. A romantic atmosphere is created inside the venue with custom wagon wheel chandeliers and white string lights strung across the beams of the ceiling, setting the tone for your special day. There is plenty of parking at the facility, as well as a miniature mule and buggy that will transport visitors to and from the barn to the parking lot for no additional charge. Blythewood Event Center & Bed & Breakfast is a historic Greek Revival mansion built in 1885, set on grounds shaded by oak trees and bordered by a camellia garden in Amite, Louisiana. The property was purchased by the Kennedy family in 1970, has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and has operated as an event center since 1980 — one of the longest-running private event estates in the region. Inside, guests are welcomed by a grand piano in the main hallway, with a ballroom and intimate dining rooms suited to celebrations from small dinners to full receptions. The surrounding gardens and wraparound porches provide a natural backdrop for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours. Blythewood specializes in the "Weekend Wedding," a multi-day format that gives the wedding party and close family exclusive use of the entire mansion from Friday through Sunday, including bed and breakfast accommodations and a full breakfast each morning.
