Gunshow is a restaurant and private event venue at 924 Garrett Street in Atlanta's Glenwood Park neighborhood, built around an unconventional, chef-driven dining format. Dishes are presented tableside by Chef Cody Chassar and his team, and cocktails are prepared tableside on a rolling cart — making every meal an interactive experience. The open kitchen anchors the dining room, bringing the culinary process into full view of every guest. For private events, Gunshow offers full restaurant buyouts available Wednesday through Saturday, accommodating up to 70 guests for seated dinners and up to 125 for reception-style events. Seasonal menus are designed and crafted by the Gunshow chefs specifically for each event, with multiple package tiers ranging from a 4-course dinner to a 5-course plated dinner with action stations and a full bar. The Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception stands as Atlanta's most historic church, originally built in 1848 to serve workers constructing the railroad that gave the city its name. One of the only original structures to survive the burning of Atlanta during the Civil War — spared after a direct appeal to General Sherman — the Shrine is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and continues to welcome couples from across the country and around the world to celebrate their marriages within its walls. The sanctuary is a dramatic setting for wedding ceremonies. Funeral home weddings are becoming increasingly popular, and Atlanta's historic Oakland Cemetery is a particularly gorgeous location for an outdoor ceremony. As a Victorian garden cemetery and the site of Atlanta's first park, we're continuing on the Victorian tradition of making Oakland a place to commemorate the lives and loves of the city's 70,000 citizens, as did the Victorians. A covered space that can accommodate up to 50 people is available in addition to open-air locations that may accommodate up to 250 guests in total. When not in use as a functioning greenhouse, the Beaumont Allen Greenhouse may be rented out for special events from September through May.
