Within our five turn-of-the-century warehouses, The 1896, Studios & Stages houses over a dozen different shooting locations for Photo, Film, Commercials, and Events. Opened in 2008 by sculptor Jen Durbin, The 1896 has welcomed productions and events both small & large for nearly two decades. The site boasts many of its original features, most notably the century-old textured warehouse walls and brick-lined 110' long entrance & promenade, gorgeous skylit warehouses with a 37-foot high clerestory of windows, a 70-foot smokestack towering over Flushing Avenue, a freight elevator with original gear room, and a wrought-iron balcony and fire escape opening onto a brick-lined courtyard. The 1896 with its multiple maze of interconnected and towering warehouses and breakout rooms, both indoor and out, serve as a raw canvas for anything from a stunning Wedding to shape shifting Immersive & Interactive Events and Brand launches, raucous live Concerts blazing til dawn to mud-slinging Fashion Shows and Carnival-themed Birthday bashes. The capacity taps at 274 without permit but swells up to 1200 with a TPA. Positioned inside the North Brooklyn Industrial Business Zone in Bushwick, our parties feel on the edge of nowhere but turn the corner and you hit a dozen taco stands and the Jefferson L. Our vision for this multi-purpose 26,000 square foot filming and event location presented an opportunity to protect this historic block of buildings from the fate of over-development and to preserve it for the arts. Striking a balance between protecting the hard-earned beauty and retrofitting it with all the conveniences and comforts of a modern production studio and event space, The 1896 time worn patina and raw historic charm belie its intimate and personal touch.

White Space Chelsea is a versatile and dynamic event venue in the heart of Chelsea, New York’s premier gallery district. Spreading over a luminous surface of 4,000 sq feet, the space is located at street level, nestled between Petzel Gallery and Pace Gallery on 25th Street. Patent Pending is located in the cellar of the Radio Wave Building, a New York City landmark building where Nikola Tesla lived and performed his experiments in the late 19th century. Patent Pending provides an intimate private event experience that embodies aspects of both a discreet speakeasy and upscale cocktail club. Once here, your private party will be transported into the back bar, with a lovely, low-ceiling, mirrored foyer for eight (3 stools), five banquettes to seat up to twenty-two, and nine bar stools. Behind another hidden archway, The Lab at Patent Pending awaits with a large booth for ten, another booth for twelve, a dance floor and five bar seats. Food will be served in the cafe up front, and the entire space both front and back can be yours. For groups of 12 or more, The Lab can be yours either privately or shared. We built our space to be unique and original in many ways but also very minimalist and interchangeable. Our tasting room is 1,000 sf and the main feature here. Large windows open onto the sidewalk. Grey and concrete dominate the space, with 2 circular bar. One bar is a food corner with a simple kitchen set up good for food catering, pop ups or the DJ booth! Lights are all dimmable to create different moods. The main feature of the space is the large circular bar with 40 taps behind it and a big circular window that overlooks our production space. On tap we have a large selection of our cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), local beers, spirits and wine. There are 2 restrooms, one with handicap access. There is plenty of seating, bar seats, custom bench and circular tables, all can be moved or removed.

Dobbin St is a tailored event space centrally located in Williamsburg, steps away from picturesque McCarren park. A transformed Brooklyn factory that exudes a minimalist and luxury feel, boasting stunning Manhattan skyline views and vaulted 22 foot ceilings. The venue combines 8,900 sq ft of indoor and outdoor space. Dobbin St was designed with the sole intention to create the most exceptional and stunning event experience. Our clients have the use of 4,250 sq ft of internal space, and a 750 sq ft dedicated client mezzanine. A 900 sq ft courtyard is the beautiful hidden gem that completes the space. ​ Our client floor includes a client suite with an en-suite bathroom and a private lounge with floor to ceiling glass windows. This provides an elegant oasis to escape and observe your guests having fun. One flight up is a 3,000 sq ft terrace - an exquisite setting for a wedding ceremony or open air event.

The top floor of one of the few remaining factory warehouses on the North Williamsburg riverfront is now home to XX Venue, a freshly established, large, nicely restored business space. This one-of-a-kind venue, located at the corner of North 11th Street and Wythe Avenue, features 11,000 square feet of private, multi-purpose studio space and a 4,000 square foot private rooftop. With its flexible white-box architecture, open floor layout, and spectacular waterfront vistas, this extraordinary space has been deliberately built to support a diversity of applications within a historic three-story brick warehouse. The spacious inside space, in addition to the private rooftop access, features numerous expansive open areas as well as six distinct studio rooms, each with over-sized, magnificent arch windows. The whitewashed setting creates an excellent blank canvas for your individual wedding vision to come to life, with 20-foot ceilings, Madera hardwood floors, big skylights, and plenty of windows that flood the area with natural light. The XX Venue is a high-end loft with a private rooftop in Williamsburg's burgeoning neighborhood. This venue combines all modern features with Brooklyn character and convenience, and is located in a refurbished warehouse building. Within the facility, there is a panoramic 270-degree view, as well as unimpeded views of the East River and Manhattan skyline from the rooftop. Natural light floods the 15,000 square feet of space. Office space, breakout rooms, back of house, and a large open space for activation are all part of the distinctive concept.
