For almost 35 years, the Dennis Inn, located in the tranquil seaside community of Dennis, MA, has provided a wonderful location for weddings, receptions, family reunions, holiday parties, and many other celebratory occasions. Treats Catering, our sister company, is the sole caterer for all events held at the Dennis Inn. If you want to have an unforgettable Cape Cod celebration, come to the Dennis Inn and join us. Because the Dennis Inn only accommodates one wedding reception per day, you will have complete freedom to design your day around you, with full access to the Inn and grounds. With a large tent on our wide grounds, we can accommodate up to 250 guests for indoor gatherings and up to 100 visitors for outdoor functions. The Inn also features a wonderful suite of rooms on the second floor that can accommodate up to eight guests. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and entertainment area, and a powder room make up this wedding suite. A beautiful in-ground pool and wide back yard complete out the Inn's amenities, perfect for entertaining the day before the wedding or hosting a farewell brunch the day after. Saturday receptions require a minimum of 100 guests from Memorial Day through Columbus Day. The Inn offers a discounted rate for receptions without overnight accommodations. Because we are open all year, we can also accommodate Friday, Sunday, and off-season receptions. Together they offer accommodations for up to 62 overnight guests, making the property well suited for multi-day buyout events and weddings where the whole party stays on-site. For private events, the venue offers five distinct spaces — from a large open lawn that accommodates up to 250 guests under a tent, to an intimate waterside setting at Hawes Pond, a marsh-facing deck at the front of Captain's House, a rear deck overlooking the grounds, and The Sail Loft, an indoor dining room that seats up to 80 and overlooks the pond. The property hosts one event per day. We cater to groups who want the Ultimate Location for a reunion, birthday celebration or a mini/micro wedding. All our homes are Located in the outer portion of Cape Cod in the small towns of Eastham and East Orleans. Eastham is a great town for vacations in Cape Cod. With the town only being a couple of miles wide, you are not far from the Bay or Ocean. The Bay offers great walking/exploring of the flats at low tide and is an easy walk from our rental properties and the ocean is only a short drive or bike ride away. Our homes in Eastham are within walking distance to the Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path. Also close by is the Hemingway Landing, where you can dig your own shellfish, or drop a small boat and go striper fishing in Town Cove. Down the road is the Wellfleet Drive-In Theatre that offers the infamous flea market by day and movie by night. Provincetown is only a 20- to 30-minute drive away and a great place to book a Whale Watch. There are several festivals that occur in Eastham and the surrounding towns throughout the year. There are also numerous hiking trails at the Wellfleet Audubon Society nearby and a one of a kind experience at the National Seashore. East Orleans, is home to Nauset Beach, the first longest National Seashore Beach, accessible by car. You are able to get a beach pass to drive on the beach but you must plan ahead.
