Our facility can accommodate a wide range of private events such as weddings, business events, birthday and bridal showers, bar/bat mitzvahs, conferences, and more. To avoid having to wash dishes at night for her large family or having to eat hamburger helper (her brother's favorite dish to cook), Linda traded dish duties with her siblings for cooking duties, and developed an intense passion for planning menus, creating recipes, and putting on dinners and events for her family of 15 children. Linda is the mother of 15 children. In her adolescence, she could frequently be found in bookshops reading cookbooks, and she had a cherished memory of reading "The French Laundry Cookbook" for the first time from cover to cover when it was originally published. She made the decision to attend a cooking school shortly after, having no idea that it would turn out to be a career choice. Having been born and reared in Argentina to an American father and a French mother, she comes from a diverse background of cultures and experiences, which contributes to the diverse range of flavors she enjoys putting into her dishes. She moved to the Bay Area when she was 17 years old in order to attend culinary school in San Francisco. After stays in New York and Kansas City, she returned to the Bay Area and began performing at some of the city's most prestigious restaurants, including Masa's, Campton Place, The French Laundry, and Michael Mina's, among others.

Foreign Cinema offers a variety of private dining options for groups of up to 350 people, ranging from small hors d'oeuvres and cocktails to huge, formal seated dinners. Our chefs tailor each menu, incorporating sustainable, seasonal, and market availability into the meal while also taking into consideration the guests' specific preferences and the restaurant's exceptional style of globally-inspired food. Our newest event area is located on the second floor. This quaint spot, located just past the Courtyard, is decorated with an Amate-style bespoke mural by Jet Martinez and designer floor tiles, among other things. This is a picture-perfect location for your next party, made even more appealing by the addition of café lights and heating. From April through October, we are available. In collaboration with acclaimed international art dealer Martin Muller of Modernism Inc. in San Francisco, Foreign Cinema presents Modernism West, an exclusive and one-of-a-kind private dining gallery featuring evolving, curated international artwork, a modern sound audio/visual system, a built-in bar, 18-foot-high ceilings, skylights, and a wall of windows with an electronic shading system. The View Lounge reopened its doors in January 2015 after undergoing extensive renovations. OUR STORY: Del Popolo began operations as a mobile pizzeria in May 2012, operating out of a glass-enclosed shipping container on the back of a Freightliner truck and serving Neapolitan-inspired pizza. In November 2015, we inaugurated our brick-and-mortar restaurant, which serves the same naturally-leavened, wood-fired pizza that we have been obsessing over since 2012, as well as market-driven antipasti and a carefully curated list of wine and beer selections. Our pizza truck is still on the streets of San Francisco, and we are happy to offer you the option of eating your pizza in a chair if you would prefer not to stand up. With a glass of wine, of course. Come and spend some time with us! THE GARDEN: Private and heated, The Garden is an outdoor dining room located just behind Del Popolo that can accommodate up to 100 people. It is available for sitting lunches and dinners for up to 40 guests or standing receptions for up to 50 guests throughout the year. MAIN DINING ROOM: Tuesday through Sunday evenings, Del Popolo's dining room is available for private parties to rent. We can accommodate up to 60 people sitting and 75 people reception-style. RESTAURANT + GARDEN BUYOUT: Monday through Sunday, Del Popolo is available for a full restaurant buyout at a discounted rate. You can choose to have a standing reception in The Garden prior to dinner in the main dining room, or vice versa, depending on your preferences. The spaces are divided by a stairway and a hallway and do not overlap, although they can accommodate a total of 100 people seated and 125 people standing when used in combination.

Built in 1915 as part of the Panama-Pacific International Exposition, the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium derives its name from the late impresario Bill Graham, who began the rock ‘n roll movement in San Francisco in the 1960s. The historic building has hosted a multitude of significant cultural events, including the Democratic National Convention in 1920, a speech from Martin Luther King Jr. to the NAACP in 1956, and served as the Golden State Warriors’ home court from 1964 to 1966. President Barack Obama was a guest of the venue both in 2007 and 2012 for campaign speeches, and the Dalai Lama offered two days of teachings in 2007. As the exclusive promoter, Another Planet Entertainment manages the building with respect to its rich history and keeps the venue active with hundreds of concerts and special events. Past concerts include performances by the Grateful Dead, Elton John, Sam Smith, Swedish House Mafia, Chance the Rapper, The Killers, Janet Jackson, Phish, Lady Gaga, Bob Dylan, Tool, Bruno Mars, Zedd, Bette Midler, Juanes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billie Eilish, Lizzo and many more. In preparation for our much-anticipated return to live concerts and our commitment to producing safe events, all patrons attending concerts at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium will need to show proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours from the time of entry to the venue. We encourage fans attending our events to plan ahead and arrive early, as heavy traffic is often experienced in the area. Please carpool whenever possible, and we highly encourage the use of public transportation as both BART and MUNI have services within walking distance to the venue.

The Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco (CCC) is a nonprofit arts and cultural organization founded in 1965, occupying 20,000 square feet on the third floor of the Hilton Hotel at the junction of the Financial District and historic Chinatown. Established during the Civil Rights Movement to combat racism and displacement in Chinatown, CCC opened its Kearny Street site in 1973 as a landmark concession to the growing movement in Chinatown around community land use. The center offers three primary event spaces across its main location at 750 Kearny Street: a 299-seat auditorium, a 2,935-square-foot gallery, and the Him Mark Lai Learning Center — making it well suited for large performances and screenings, art-forward receptions, educational programs, and community gatherings. A smaller space at 41 Ross Alley in Chinatown accommodates intimate pop-ups and private events. CCC's programming spans contemporary art exhibitions, thought leader seminars, and festivals including the Chinatown Music Festival and Hungry Ghost Festival. Events and rental inquiries are handled by the administrative team, who work with nonprofits, community partners, and private clients to make use of the center's culturally distinctive spaces.
