The most beautiful location in the Santa Cruz Mountains! The family estate of Apple co founder Steve Wozniak is now available for weddings and special events. We have wedding and reception facilities that can accommodate up to 100 guests. Located at the summit of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Redwood Ridge Estate is a lovely wedding destination. For marriages and wedding photography, the Estate's 25 acres of land provides a captivating background. The peaceful koi pond has an island in the center, and the happy couple walks across a bridge to the location where their ceremony will take place on the island. Guests will be surrounded by towering redwood trees and will be able to see and hear a waterfall falling into a pond as they enter the property. The reception will be hosted in a rustic barn surrounded by the Pinot Noir Vineyard, with towering ceilings of exposed beams and fairy lights adorning the walls. Its enormous windows and wide barn doors allow guests to move easily from inside the barn to the 4,000 sq. ft. patio, where they may take in the sunset vista views of Monterey Bay, the Santa Cruz Mountains, and valleys. About the Estate Nestled in the redwood forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Northern California, overlooking both Monterey Bay and Santa Clara Valley, the Wozniak estate is an ideal wedding location. Towering redwood groves and colorful flowers lie around every corner. In addition to redwoods throughout the estate, there are lovely hardwoods like this majestic madrone on the edge of our koi pond. We are a bonded winery and the reception hall sits in the middle of the Pinot Noir vineyard. Llamas and alpacas graze the surrounding 25 acres. An Outdoor Wedding The serenity of the pond creates the ideal spot for that cherished moment. Inside the two thousand year old redwood “cathedral” is one of several location choices for joining families. Or create your own location. An island in the redwood-sheltered pond provides an intimate ceremony location. On the shore we have room to seat a hundred guests. The serene waterfall provides the ideal backdrop for the newly weds photo. Reception The 4,000 sq ft patio surrounding this rustic barn was once home to our llamas and alpacas. The facility has handicapped-accessible restrooms and nighttime illumination. Complete wedding packages are provided by outside professional caterers. The patio has a sweeping vista of the Santa Cruz Mountains, providing for a panoramic sunset.

The Golf Club at Rio Vista is a golf course and event venue located at 1000 Summerset Drive in Rio Vista, California, set along lush green fairways with views of the surrounding landscape. The property features the Monarch Grill restaurant alongside dedicated event spaces designed to host gatherings of all sizes — from intimate banquets to full wedding receptions. Two primary event areas serve private events: a spacious outdoor patio and a large private dining hall, both of which can be configured to create a custom experience for each group. The venue accommodates a range of occasions, including weddings, corporate outings, charitable fundraisers, and private banquets. On-site catering is provided through the Monarch Grill, with food service options ranging from casual box lunches to formal dinner service. Complimentary parking is available on the grounds.

Bouchaine is the oldest continuously operating winery in Carneros, a region located on the southern tip of Napa Valley. In the late 1880s, a Missouri-born settler named Boon Fly planted grapes and fruit trees on the property. An Italian winemaker named Johnny Garetto bought the land in 1927 and farmed it until 1961, when he sold to Beringer. After 20 years as a storage facility, the dilapidated winery buildings were purchased by Gerret and Tatiana Copeland, along with 30 acres of the surrounding land. The Copelands set to work revitalizing the property with new vineyards, winery improvements, and a renewed sense of purpose. Redwood from early storage tanks was recycled and repurposed into the new facade for the winery and tasting room buildings. John Garetto’s original sign from the 1930’s was found patching a hole in the roof. It now holds a place of honor in Bouchaine’s Conference Room. Throughout the years, the Copelands continued to update the property, expanding the vineyards to 100 acres, and invested their time and passion into building a sustainable, family-owned estate. Under the Copelands’ leadership, Bouchaine has grown from a pair of ramshackle buildings into a thriving vineyard estate. With imagination and passion, Gerret and Tatiana have fashioned wines and a wine country experience for visitors that is a distillation of their remarkable lives, at home in Delaware and in Napa Valley. The shallow clay loam soils of Bouchaine are perfectly suited for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. These soils force the vines to dig deep for water, promoting depth and concentration as the roots struggle to penetrate the ribbons of obsidian, quartz, clay and volcanic deposits. Of Bouchaine’s 87 planted acres, 31 are dedicated to Chardonnay, 46 to Pinot Noir, with the remaining 10 devoted to Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Riesling and Syrah. Vineyard blocks are planted with different sun exposures and pruning techniques based on topography, to optimize air circulation and ripening. Bouchaine's high-touch, precision viticulture is managed by an all-female vineyard crew that performs every aspect of the growing process entirely by hand. That includes pruning, positioning shoots, thinning clusters and applying compost, which provides a natural source of rich nutrients for the soil. There is always something fun going on at Bouchaine. Quail Hollow Ranch County Park is a 300-acre historic horse ranch and nature preserve nestled deep in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Felton, California. Acquired by Santa Cruz County in 1986, the property traces its roots to 1866 and was once owned by the Lane family — publishers of Sunset Magazine — who developed it as a working ranch from 1937 through 1991. That history is woven into the ranch house's architecture and decor, giving every event a sense of place that purpose-built venues rarely offer. Two distinct settings accommodate different group sizes and seasons. The historic ranch house and its rambling oak-shaded porch host indoor gatherings of up to 50 guests year-round, while the spacious lawn — framed by an apple orchard, a pond edged with red willows, and forested mountain ridgelines — accommodates up to 120 guests for outdoor celebrations from April through October. Etude was founded on the philosophy that winemaking begins in the vineyard long before the harvest and that superior grape growing diminishes the need for intervention by the winemaker, resulting in wine that is grown, not made. This remains their approach today as they continue to build the Etude legacy. Etude was established 1982, when founding winemaker Tony Soter set his sights on the cool-climate Carneros region in the pursuit of producing world-class Pinot Noir. As a winemaker, Tony always had a fascination with Pinot Noir. He was quoted as saying "Pinot Noir is the most appropriate vehicle with which to study wine growing, precisely because of its demanding nature but also because of its delicacy and transparency. Make no mistake it is a humbling pursuit, but when it’s right, Pinot Noir is a glorious and moving thing. It is in the pursuit of that experience that we all work.” In 2000, Grace Benoist Ranch was developed – the culmination of an eighteen-year journey in finding the most suitable terroir for their Estate vineyards. On the ranch are seven Chardonnay clones, nine Heirloom Pinot Noir clones, and eight additional Pinot clones, all divided into 24 individual vineyard blocks, each with its own soil type, rootstock, grape variety and clonal type. These individual vineyard blocks average only 8 acres in size. The spacing is dense to ensure low per vine yields of fully concentrated fruit. Pinot Noir offers intricate flavor profiles, many of which are unique to its growing region. Beyond Carneros, Etude sources fruit from the Central Coast region of California, Oregon, and even New Zealand. This diversity offers their guests the opportunity to see the world though the lens of Pinot Noir. The flavors, aromas, and textures are a direct impact of the teroirs on which the grapes are grown. At Etude, they believe wines are expressive of the place in which they are grown.
