The San Jose Clubhouse has been organizing intimate social gatherings for our San Jose neighbors for over a century. Within these walls, we celebrate weddings, graduations, Quinceaneras, bar/bat mitzvahs, festivals, infants, birthdays, and memorials. This Arts and Crafts bungalow, established by the ladies of We and Our Neighbors, is a historic landmark and California's oldest continuously utilized women's clubhouse. The San Jose Clubhouse welcomes you to host your next event with fewer than 80 attendees. This charming establishment has been meticulously preserved and upgraded to retain its original charm. It's perfect for modest weddings, anniversaries, bridal or baby showers, memorials, business meetings, birthday parties, boutiques, art displays and music recitals, and more, thanks to its comfortable masonry fireplace, hardwood floors, and stained glass lighting. The Osher Marin Jewish Community Center (Osher Marin JCC) is a full-service community and event venue set on the Lonee C. Hoytt Jewish Campus at 200 North San Pedro Road in San Rafael, California. Founded in 1948, the center occupies an 80,000-square-foot facility and has served Marin County for over seven decades as a gathering place for people of all ages and backgrounds. The JCC's event spaces accommodate gatherings from intimate receptions to large-scale celebrations. The signature Hoytt Theater seats up to 275 guests at tables or 400 in theater-style configuration. Smaller spaces — including the Kurland Lounge, Pell Atrium, and Isaacs Gallery — host gatherings of 30 to 70 guests, while the outdoor Upper Courtyard seats up to 90 guests and accommodates 200 in a standing layout. The venue has hosted weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, quinceañeras, galas, grad nights, and live performances. Rental packages include JCC tables and chairs, setup and breakdown, and on-site event staff. A elevated, canopied patio lies just ahead, and going out beyond it is a wonderfully beautiful grass, which is flanked on three sides by mature magnolia and camellia trees, which adds to the tranquility of the setting. A wide brick promenade runs right through the center of the field, and it is embellished with two multitiered fountains, each of which is crowned with dramatic statues of Greek goddesses.
