Husband and wife team Jen and Marty Reyes set off on the quest to bring a tropical escape to Dallas in 2015. When the brick and mortar dream seemed too far out of reach, Marty came up with a plan to get Swizzle's name out there by doing Tiki pop-ups. The first was in May of 2016. They were delighted to meet other tikiphiles and guests who shared their passion for tropical cocktails and immersive experiences. As the years went on, the search for a “home” grew and so did the events. The duo and their incredible team of talented bartenders soon started producing Dallas Tiki Week with the Dallas USBG and found an even wider tiki audience across the great state of Texas. ​ In 2019 their dream finally came true and they found a place they could call home. Swizzle opened on Lower Greenville in November of 2020. ​ We are a Beachcomber bar focusing on telling the story of the history of Tiki Art, the craft of tropical cocktails, where these ideas came from and where they are headed in our modern culture. Our walls are decorated with artists old and new to showcase these transitions and our menu too starts with, “classics” and moves to original cocktails to tell that story similar to the way Donn the Beachcomber once did. From the food to the drinks, this mom and pop business, and its talented team of Swizzle-nauts, uses hand crafted ingredients and made from scratch recipes (some which have been passed down through our family) creating unique and fresh flavors for your palate. Two Bit Circus opened their first permanent location, also known as the world’s first Micro-Amusement Park, in 2018 in Los Angeles, California. Two Bit Circus Dallas has just opened in Dallas at the Shops in Park Lane. In the 35,000 square foot building, people of all ages will be brought together, elbow-to-elbow, to play amid an ever-changing landscape of immersive entertainment; including multi-person virtual reality, narrative-based escape/story rooms, indie arcades, molecular mixology and - of course - liberal use of lasers and robots.

The OC (Opportunity Central) is a versatile, multipurpose venue designed to host a wide array of events ranging from large public spectacles to intimate private gatherings. Major Entertainment & Competitions The facility features a 7,500-seat arena that serves as a hub for large-scale events. It is equipped to host concerts, sports competitions (such as volleyball tournaments and regional UIL tournaments), and wrestling events like the NWA Shockwave. The arena floor is also designed to accommodate trade shows, expositions, and conventions. Celebrations & Social Gathering Spaces within The OC are available for private celebrations, including receptions, banquets, and parties. A 2000 square foot studio/loft space built in 1897. It is the oldest standing building on the square and once was a meeting spot for the Oddfellows. Our original wood floors and brick walls give a charm to this space that cannot be matched. With the added furniture and decor, it feels like stepping into a giant hug. We are a wellness co-op and event space so our studio is really the best for any event. From a yoga class/workshop to business meeting/luncheon to small wedding/shower event. It's flexible and functional for all. Onsite/attached bathroom for guests stocked with soaps, lotions, paper towels and toilet paper. We are located on the second floor of the building and given its age there is only a stairway entry. Please consider this when booking!

Communion Celebrations Communion Events arose from a flood of requests from members of our community who wanted to utilize our space for their birthday parties, dinner parties, graduation parties, and so on. As a result, we immediately built an events program to meet their needs while also allowing our Coworking members to use the space. With this, we can now provide the main Coworking space after 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day on weekends. We're always seeking for new ways to put the space to creative use, and the events have provided us with an opportunity to do so. We host a number of different events, including public, private, and ticketed events. Communion Restaurant offers a variety of exclusive food and bar choices to ensure that each occasion is a turnkey, one-of-a-kind experience. Each quarter, Communion hosts one public event. This includes our annual Crawfest benefit for Capernaum Young Life (Sean Mann) in the spring, our monthly Artisan Market, and Meet the Heroes, when kids dress up as super heroes and meet our local heroes in the police, fire, and EMT departments. We provide a wide range of ticketed events. We recently established Communion Unplugged, a monthly music series. Santa's Breakfast, Sharing Table multi-course pairing dinners, sporting watch parties, and so on are all on the list. In terms of private gatherings, we can assist with almost any event under 200 people. To mention a few, operas, high school graduations, weddings, receptions, sweet sixteens, baby showers, book launch parties, company parties, Christmas parties, High School dances, church events, and a 50th wedding anniversary...
