Cooper’s at it again: stepping up with fashion district space fitted to LA’s lifestyle creatives. The building was born in 1927 to suit LA’s fashion designers and manufacturers. During the 40s and 50s, cooper refashioned itself to shine as LA.’s premier address for fashion industry showrooms – before there was a California mart or a new mart. The cooper building pioneered again during the 80s as one of America’s first discount retail centers, a model for today’s outlet malls. And in the 90s, the cooper building anted up for the fashion district, working to persuade the LA city council to establish the city’s first business improvement district. Today, renovated as cooper design space, the building at the corner of 9th and Los Angeles streets is at it again as home base for LA creatives. The building hosts a space that embraces cross-pollination among LA lifestyle businesses in fashion, media arts and publishing. A space that encourages fluidity across functions by offering studio, office and showroom in a single location.

Whoop Axe is an adventure entertainment venue in South Orange County. It is a plug and play venue for all types of events. With a 10,000 square foot space, Whoop Axe, can host over 300 guests. We have sound, lights, stage, 2,000 square foot dance floor, microphone, projector, and natural seating for 125 guests and we can add seating to accommodate up to 300. Then there is the entertainment side of the venue. Whoop Axe has a list of bands, line dance instructors, and DJs. Entertaining the whole venue at once. As well as 20 axe throwing lanes, a mechanical bull, a rage room, and yard games, that can entertain over 90 guests at a time with activities. Catering is easy. We have a group of vendors that allows for many food options to be available by a simple price point of $15 per person. Alcohol is available for purchase as well. Serra Plaza sits right next to San Juan Capistrano's Los Rios Historic District, is walking distance from Mission San Juan Capistrano, and the Capistrano Depot is also just steps away for out-of-town guests. Upon entry through fabric-draped loggias, the Serra Plaza Courtyard opens onto hand-laid stone pavers, a bubbling Spanish fountain, native swallows circling overhead, and adobe-style walls with old-world details reminiscent of the town’s rich history. Ceremonies take place in front of the Courtyard fountain, framed by Spanish architecture and strung with market lights. The Lounge, with dual fireplaces and an outdoor patio, hosts cocktail hour while the Courtyard transforms for dinner and dancing. This grand industrial studio provides a functional multipurpose space, perfect for the next film, video or photo production, film, rehearsal, casting, or event you have in the works! This location consists of one massive open warehouse space and a series of offices as well. The versatility of this space allows for endless possibilities and creative set options for whatever your next project calls for. If booking during business hours 6am-6pm, staff is in the building working in office space. Ground floor access and bay doors for easier access and load in. Pet friendly. Close to Downtown.
