The Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House is a nonprofit division of the Missouri Botanical Garden, located in Faust Park in Chesterfield, Missouri. Opened in September 1998, it became the first stand-alone insect facility to earn accreditation from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums — a distinction achieved in 2003. The Kenilworth Assembly Hall was designed by Chicago architect George W. Maher, who was a contemporary of Frank Lloyd Wright. It was completed in 1907. Public Landing Banquets occupies a historic setting inside the Gaylord Building in downtown Lockport, Illinois — a limestone structure with exposed brick walls, wooden beam ceilings, and a connection to the Illinois & Michigan Canal corridor that gives the property genuine architectural character. The venue's event floor, operated as The Loft at Public Landing, offers three distinct spaces. The Loft is the main room, accommodating 50 to 160 guests for weddings, large banquets, and celebrations, with balcony access overlooking the Riverwalk and Lincoln Landing. The Board Room and The State Room each host up to 50 guests, suited to showers, corporate meetings, and intimate gatherings. City Museum occupies a former shoe factory in downtown St. Louis, transformed by internationally acclaimed sculptors Bob and Gail Cassilly into an artist-built playground and event destination unlike any other. The building's industrial bones have been reshaped with salvaged architectural elements, mosaic floors, giant sculptural installations, and a 10-story slide that winds through its interior and exterior — all assembled from the materials cities leave behind. For private events, the museum offers five distinct rental spaces accommodating groups from 25 to 4,000 guests. Each venue carries its own character: the oceanic murals and aquarium of the First Floor & Mezzanine, the double vault doors and mirror hallway of the Vault Room, the salvaged facades and hardwood dance floor of Architecture Hall, a historic frontier log cabin beneath MonstroCity, and a 10th-floor corner meeting room with citywide views. Museum admission is included for guests on the day of the event, and the team works with both in-house catering and outside caterers.

FitzGerald's is an incredible private event venue. With rich history, vintage charm, and scalability from 25 – 750 people, we offer a unique alternative with character and flexibility. Our collective decades of experience in event production come in handy as we support you through the planning process. From before the invitations to after the thank you cards, we got you. FitzGerald’s has been a place for gathering since it was built in the early 1900’s. Up to 1925, the frame building at 6615 W. Roosevelt was a roadhouse used as a hunting lodge and sporting team headquarters. As more buildings rose along Roosevelt Road, the property was home to several nightclubs, the best-known being The Hunt Club, which flourished through the 1950’s and early 60’s–acts included Turk Murphy, Bob Scobey and Lil Armstrong. After the Hunt Club closed, the space became the Deer Lodge, complete with pool tables and a fortune teller. The FitzGerald family bought the building in 1980, and since that time FitzGerald’s has gained a national reputation for excellent live music in a casual, comfortable atmosphere. Along the way, the family purchased the buildings on either side of the club; the corner building now houses FitzGerald's Sidebar, a neighborhood cocktail lounge as well as a private event space. On March 5th 2020, Chicago entertainment veteran Will Duncan (Thalia Hall, Dusek’s/Punch House, MONEYGUN/Saint Lou’s) acquired the buildings and business from the FitzGerald’s family as they transitioned to retirement. The ownership transition achieved an uninterrupted experience for the many regular patrons, without closing for even one day.
