The Inn at 835 is a boutique hotel and full-service event venue set in a turn-of-the-century building in Springfield, Illinois, two blocks from the Illinois State Capitol in the Aristocracy Hill neighborhood. The property blends historic character with modern amenities, and is part of Conn's Hospitality Group, a Springfield-based family business with roots going back to 1948. Three distinct event spaces give the venue flexibility across guest counts and event styles. The Conservatory, a 3,400-square-foot space with nine-foot ceilings, accommodates up to 240 guests for seated receptions and 300 for cocktail events. The Parlor Rooms offer an intimate setting for up to 75 seated or 125 cocktail guests, suitable for showers, celebrations, and business gatherings. The Barn at Hornbaker Gardens is a four-season event center set on a 40-acre property in Princeton, Illinois that began as a destination garden center in 1987. In 2015, The Barn was built to give the property a permanent home for receptions and celebrations, pairing rustic exterior character with an elegant interior designed for weddings and private events. The 7,000-square-foot Great Hall accommodates up to 350 guests and features exposed wood posts, a wood ceiling, vinyl plank flooring, three custom chandeliers, and a wall of grand windows overlooking the gardens. The space transitions naturally from indoor ceremonies in front of those windows to full reception use. A large covered patio provides a cocktail-hour gathering spot where guests can step outside later to enjoy the evening under the stars. The venue is heated and air-conditioned for year-round comfort and includes two private wedding suites for pre-ceremony preparation, a professional catering kitchen, an in-house bar program, and on-site event coordination. Historic Turner Hall is a landmark event venue in Galena, Illinois, owned and operated by the City of Galena since 1939. Originally constructed in 1875 by the Turner Society of Galena, the hall was rebuilt in 1927 following a fire, emerging with a stage "as large as any theatre in the big cities," a balcony with 335 built-in seats, marble lobby flooring, and separate restrooms and check rooms. In 2019, the hall received the Landmarks Illinois Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Award, recognizing its continued significance to the region. The main hall is a large, open-floor gathering space spanning 66 by 65 feet, with a 33.5-by-17.5-foot stage equipped with a Colortran theatrical lighting system. The reconfigurable floor accommodates weddings, concerts, dances, fundraisers, lectures, theatrical productions, and meetings. Air conditioning was added in 2002. Tables and chairs are included in the rental, and alcohol is permitted with appropriate liability coverage.

Mrs. Murphy's is a multidimensional establishment that provides pub service, private gatherings, and an imported Irish goods shop. The pub has been offering scratch-made Irish pub favorites, supplemented by a smart choice of craft beers, a welcoming wine list, and a deep range of over 50 Irish whiskeys, since it first opened its doors in September 2005 in Chicago's North Center neighborhood. Mrs. Murphy's provides the warm family welcome that makes a wonderful Irish bar, in addition to superb food, music, and drink. Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro first opened its doors on September 2nd, 2005, with a long history of hospitality and community service. Jim Murphy, the late owner of the famed Wrigleyville pub Murphy's Bleachers, dreamed of bringing contemporary Irish cuisine to his homeland. Jim and his wife, Beth, bought a 1920s-era funeral house at 3905 Lincoln Avenue in 2002 with the intention of turning it into a restaurant serving Irish food that was more sophisticated than pub grub. Jim had gathered various antiques over the years, including stained glass windows from the famed German restaurant Zum Deutschen Eck, nautical bric-a-brac, Guinness collectibles, and vintage images of Chicago, to decorate the restaurant. Wood pillars, stained glass, and skylights, all original to the 1920s building, were also included into the design.
