WedEscapes provides couples who want to get married but either do not have the financial means or do not have the desire for an extravagant or large wedding and reception with the option to purchase elegant micro wedding and elopement packages at private wedding and event venues. No more than 23 guests are permitted to attend each of our intimate micro weddings. The majority of the events will take place outside at privately owned vacation homes, beaches, parks, or in outdoor country settings. These locations are all managed by our premier partner, TGI Property Management & Consulting, LLC, who oversees a portfolio of vacation rentals across the state of South Carolina, including Charleston, Columbia, and Greenwood. WedEscapes is a one-stop shop for everything having to do with weddings, from the planning stages all the way through the big day. Our primary focus is on the planning and execution of elopements and smaller wedding ceremonies. The thing that makes us stand out from the competition is that we are able to perform a number of micro weddings in a single day at the same location by allocating between two and three hour blocks of time for each ceremony, depending on the services that are chosen. It is necessary to have a LICENSED day of event coordinator. Neither a member of the wedding party nor a guest at the wedding may be this individual. A month before the event, they must provide a copy of their driver's license and meet with the venue manager to sign our coordinator agreement. Requests for recommendations for coordinators will be gladly accommodated by the venue. The host is required to provide Harborside with a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of $500,000 (minimum), with Harborside East named as an additional insured party on the policy.

Alhambra Hall is tucked away in Mount Pleasant's Old Village neighborhood. This former ferry terminal, which overlooks Charleston Harbor, is furnished with hardwood flooring, vaulted ceilings, and airy southern porches that wrap around three sides of the structure. There are no conflicts between events because we only organize one event per day. Alhambra Hall's primary rental space, which is a well-liked location for weddings and celebrations, is about 3,280 square feet. The main hall is 80 feet long and 40 feet broad. 350 people can fit in the building at most. For a sit-down meal, the main hall can accommodate 200 people comfortably. All rentals may conclude as late as midnight on Saturday through Thursday and 1 a.m. on Friday. Dunes West is undoubtedly one of the South's best clubs, and the perfect backdrop for any occasion or celebration, from the avenue of arching live oaks that leads to the antebellum-style clubhouse to the breathtaking water vistas to the gracious yet thorough service. It's no surprise that Dunes West is a recurrent choice among brides, given to its incomparable beauty and experienced event crew, which includes a team of culinary artists who provide some of the greatest cuisine in the area. The Food and Beverage Director will assist in the planning of all functions, including food and beverage arrangements, facility set up, and event timeline, to ensure that all elements are confirmed and agreed upon in advance. Tables, chairs, flatware, china, glasses, and linens will be provided as available and depending on the nature of the event at Dunes West Golf and River Club. The cost of any additional products that the club needs to hire will be added to the final total. The employees of Dunes West Golf and River Club will set up tables, chairs, and linens, but will not be responsible for decorations, props, or flowers. Candles, props, decorations, and other special objects should be brought in the day before or the morning of the celebration. Any objects not belonging to The Club that are left behind should be picked up the morning after the function. The Club is not responsible for any objects that are not removed promptly after an event. The guest is responsible for all floral arrangements, musical arrangements, cakes, and photographs. Vendors who have previously worked with Dunes West Golf and River Club can be recommended by the Food and Beverage Director. The room will usually be ready to decorate by 7 a.m. for a morning event, 9 a.m. for a lunch event, and 3 p.m. for an evening event. Vendor deliveries should be coordinated with the Director of Food & Beverage. The facility is open to both members and non-members of Dunes West Golf and River Club. All events require a $500 deposit or 50% of the room cost, whichever is lower, which will be deducted from the final payment. There are no refunds on any deposits. Before a deposit is received, no date will be reserved.

Givhans Ferry State Park is a 988-acre lowcountry retreat set along the Edisto River, the longest free-flowing blackwater river in North America. The park sits at the end of a 23-mile paddling trail that begins at Colleton State Park, making it a natural gathering point for river-based outings and quiet celebrations alike. Four two-bedroom cabins, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, sit on a bluff overlooking the river, alongside the CCC-built River House welcome center with its wide back porch looking out over the water. The park's limestone river bluff and sinkholes, some six to eight feet deep, are among its distinguishing natural features. For groups, two picnic shelters are available to reserve, and a 1.5-mile River Bluff Nature Trail winds through the surrounding woods.
