Jeff spent 10 long months working to get the place the way he always pictured it could be. Since moving in late 2019, him and his 2 dogs (Gamble & Gus) have loved every minute of it! Even Jim and his fiance, Jill, plan to do just that in 2022! The property being 8 acres and a 2500 square ft wrap around porch, it makes for the ultimate sunset location over the Wando River. For those who truly love the outdoors as much as Jeff and his dogs do, we know you’ll enjoy your day here at The Huntington! Story of the Logo Jeff has such a love for his two dogs, Gamble & Gus. Gamble is an older yellow lab and Gus is a young German Shepard. As much as he takes pride in his property, he loves to show off his dogs! We thought what better way to make this place truly his by making them a huge part of it.

The Ashley, an event and banquet hall in Charleston, SC, is located at 1940 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, near Citadel Mall, in the West Ashley neighborhood. The economical and appealing event space is great for weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, graduation celebrations, reunions, birthday parties, and more. It is set in a freestanding brick structure with ample parking near lovely downtown Charleston. Groups of 20 to 100 people can be accommodated at the Ashley. We will work with all event planners, vendors, and caterers in the Charleston area to meet your needs. We introduced The Ashley to West Ashley to address a vacuum in the Charleston area for inexpensive venues and event spaces. Rates are reasonable and available upon request; however, rates are not quoted because they are subject to change depending on the date, weekday, hour of the event, and time of year. If The Ashley is a good fit for your organization, we'll try to come up with a rate that works for your occasion. The Ashley is willing to work with you to make your event more reasonable. Charleston event space has gotten pricey, and The Ashley is eager to work with you to make your event happen at a reasonable price. Visit The Ashley event space, which looks fantastic, extremely warm and inviting, a touch rustic but very exquisite. Monday through Thursday, The Ashley is also interested in collaborating with non-profit organizations at even lower rates. Please contact us to see if The Ashley is a good fit for your company. A foyer area with a full-service bar is included in the event space. The dining room can accommodate groups of 20 to 100 people. A patio is also available. Tables and elegant X-Back Chairs, as well as additional chairs, are available for rent. Four buffet tables and four cocktail tables are also included. Additional serving tables can be rented as well. If your event requires it, the Ashley has a big kitchen that will be available to your caterer as well as bar service. There is lots of free parking on the premises.

A 20-acre community development along the storied Ashley River, The Bend represents a fresh way of thinking about how we live and form connections. The Bend's history began with a series of land grants given out by Lord Proprietors in the 1600s. The area along the historic Ashley River's bend has gone by a number of names over the past nearly 300 years, including Stock Prior, Quarter House, Accabee Plantation, Ryedale, Anna Brae, Malona, and most recently Ashley Shores, a privately owned community. The Pearlstine Company submitted a bid on the property in 2015 with the intention of renovating it. The Bend pays homage to the Ashley River's wide bend as well as the changing character of Charleston. The Bend underwent a multi-year change under the direction of Susan Pearlstine, a native of Charleston who is also an entrepreneur, business owner, philanthropist, environmentalist, community activist, and developer. There are newly refurbished changing rooms and showers, as well as a bridal sequester room where you may be dressed on the spot. On the lower deck, the Tiki Bar is ideal for serving beer and wine. If necessary, tent rentals can be easily accommodated on the deck. Executive Chef Bob Cook's menu includes bar appetizers, house-made charcuterie, small dishes, heartier meals, and modernized versions of classic desserts. The food is genuine and unpretentious, resulting in an unforgettable dining experience inspired by the beverages on the menu. The Library is a secluded, intimate rectangular area located near the main dining room's kitchen. It can easily seat 32 people and can hold up to 45 people standing. The Library includes a wall of windows with velvet curtains that may be drawn to provide as much or as little seclusion as desired. The Library is the only event area with a television screen and audiovisual capabilities, making it perfect for business meetings. Private dinners, happy hours, bridal/baby showers, lectures, wine/beer tastings, and more can all be held in this area. This open timber-framed structure is the perfect setting for a wide range of events and celebrations. For seated dinners of up to 100 persons, long wooden community tables are available. The space is also great for parties and activities that can spill over onto the courtyard. Up to 200 persons can stand throughout the full space. The Bower is an extremely versatile venue that can accommodate events ranging from a corporate happy hour to a 100-person seated dinner to a frenetic dance floor. For hot days, there are fans, and for winter evenings, there are industrial ceiling heaters. Optional screens are available on both sides of The Bower for seclusion and intimacy. A full walkup bar is included in the Bower. When you rent out the entire restaurant, you get all of the rooms. It provides for a decent cocktail hour outside before guests arrive for dinner for rehearsal dinners. It also allows up to 300 people to enjoy live music, order beverages from either bar, watch the sun set in the courtyard, or visit the Library room's bourbon bar. There is plenty of parking on-site.
