John Temerian, Founder, partnered with Jan Otto, and DJ Irie, of the Miami Heat, to develop Lou La Vie after years of working within the ever-changing exotic automobile industry. Formerly a 1950’s manufacturing warehouse, the building has been impeccably restored by award-wining architect Chad Oppenheim with attention to detail and consideration to maintain it’s unique design integrity. Wow! It seems like only yesterday when we refurbished the landmark neighborhood fixture of the little purple house in Wynwood, Miami, Florida. The first order of business? Choosing our name. Morgan, our oldest daughter, was chosen as a direct result of her uncanny ability in the great sibling equalizer rock, paper, scissors, winning five straight matches and several "re-dos". We suppose it's those communal moments that give us that pep in our collective step. The world has gone up and got itself in some hurry, even the clouds seem to have somewhere to be. At Morgan's we've gone ahead and selected to press pause and enjoy the moment, to cherish companionship. We can still remember running around our summer home, which was also the back porch of our winter home. Enjoying the sun from the day's end, sitting on that old wooden swing with a calm breeze that carried us into a warm summer evening. We've worked our brow off to create that same comforting feeling at Morgan's, where listening is valued as much as speaking and good friends and family take the cake, well, pie as is often in our case.

Since Lorena Garcia has been cooking professionally, she has focused on bringing the flavors of Latin cooking -- one of the great cuisines of the world -- to a wider audience. As you savor the flavors and customs of the Aegean, our town will welcome you with a dose of warm, authentic Mediterranean hospitality as you relax and unwind. Mandolin Aegean Bistro, owned by husband and wife pair Ahmet Erkaya and Anastasia Koutsioukis, first opened its doors in Miami in 2009. In Miami, they refurbished a 1940's property that included one of the city's most prominent gardens and outdoor patio spaces, where every detail was carefully considered. Bringing their blended culture and enthusiastic hospitality to Miami's cuisine scene, the pair established themselves as leaders in the industry. Throughout the years, our culinary staff has developed its own interpretations of classic recipes and seasonality of Greek and Turkish coastal cuisines. We are committed to using fresh, seasonal foods while embracing Aegean cooking skills.
