Poplar Hall can host anything from a seated event for 190 people to an intimate birthday for a dozen. We have two levels, a mezzanine and main floor. One idea would be a reception on the mezzanine and seated dinner on the main floor. Or if you’d like to have a smaller event, we could seat 40 on the mezzanine. In-house catering is available, but please reach out for a list of our approved caterers. We have a full video and audio system, so just bring your phone, plug in, and get ready for the funk. Mariner's Banquet Hall sits on 25 acres in Carlyle, Illinois, with a fishing pond, a private island, and access to the Governor's Run 18-Hole Golf Course. The recently renovated hall offers 6,000 square feet of event space and comfortably accommodates up to 300 guests for weddings, receptions, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, corporate functions, and church group events. A 1,600-square-foot wooden dance floor gives DJs and live bands room to work, and the hall is equipped with tables, chairs, linens, audio-visual equipment, and a podium for speeches and ceremonies. For an intimate ceremony, the property's private island accommodates 100 to 150 guests amid the fishing pond and surrounding greenery, with couples often moving from the island to the banquet hall for their reception. Renters are free to bring in their own caterer and decorator rather than choosing from a required list, and the venue is within easy reach of Mariner's Village Inn & Suites and log cottages for overnight stays.

The Meridian is a private event venue in Fairview, Texas, offering settings for weddings, corporate events, galas, and private celebrations. The property centers on The Grand Meridian, a hall with high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and a hydraulic decor grid, with an open floor plan that accommodates banquet-style, theater-style, and cocktail seating arrangements. Beyond the main hall, the venue includes the Dining Haven, a smaller room suited to intimate dinners and gatherings that complement a larger event; the Social Hub, a lounge-style space with a built-in bar for casual parties and networking; and the Open Patio, an outdoor area with heat warmers and BBQ capability for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and celebrations. Butte des Morts Country Club is a private country club in Appleton, Wisconsin, built around a golf course designed by Chicago architect W.C. Jackson and opened in 1924. Set on more than 140 private acres of sloping hills and wooded terrain along the Fox Cities, the club pairs its golf tradition with a 36,000-square-foot clubhouse built to host groups from three to 300. The club's grand Ballroom is reached by a staircase opening onto the clubhouse's upper floor and overlooks the golf course, with a bar area and an adjoining terrace for guests to enjoy before and after dinner. It accommodates wedding receptions, dinner-dances, parties, and corporate meetings for up to 300 guests, with wedding reception capacity of up to 280. Beyond the Ballroom, the clubhouse holds several additional gathering spaces, including the Hayes Family Library, a fireplace-warmed room with its own private bar, and the Fairway Room, outfitted with audio-visual equipment for business meetings and presentations. The grounds also include a heated outdoor pool with a zero-entry wading area and diving board, tennis and pickleball courts, and groomed winter trails used for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
