    The Steeple House at Kapalua is a historic 1,500-square-foot chapel in West Maui, built in the 1950s to serve the area's pineapple and sugar cane plantation workers. Remodeled in 2017, the chapel retains its character — including stained glass windows depicting tropical flowers and pineapples — while offering every modern amenity. Situated next to The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, the property overlooks the Pacific Ocean and the Kapalua Golf Course. The grounds span one acre of manicured lawn and include multiple distinct spaces for events of all sizes. The indoor chapel accommodates 20 to 200 guests. The outdoor Mau'u Terrace, set against ocean views, suits ceremonies and cocktail hours for up to 100 guests and can be tented.     OUTRIGGER Kāʻanapali Beach Resort — formerly known as Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel and long celebrated as "Hawai'i's Most Hawaiian Hotel" — occupies 11 acres on the golden sands of Kāʻanapali Beach along Maui's western shore. Opened in 1964 as one of Hawai'i's first planned resorts, the property earned its cultural designation through more than three decades of programming led by full-time cultural specialists, offering guests complimentary daily classes in hula, 'ukulele, lei making, Hawaiian language, and traditional arts. The resort hosts events across a range of indoor and outdoor spaces, from the 4,000-square-foot Kanahele Room — which accommodates up to 250 guests for seated dinners and receptions — to the oceanfront Signature Lawn, which can accommodate up to 400 guests with views of Puʻu Kekaʻa (Black Rock) and the Pacific. Intimate ceremonies find a fitting home on the Naupaka Lawn, set steps from the beach and framed by palm trees and tropical flowers. OUTRIGGER acquired the hotel in July 2023, completing a $75 million renovation of its 432 guest rooms while preserving the cultural programs and aloha spirit that define the property.
