Several sailors came together in 1966 to form the Palm Beach Sailing Club in order to promote sailing in the West Palm Beach area. The Palm Beach Sailing Club, the area's oldest club, provides a wide range of sailing-related services to its members, as well as a busy social schedule for members. Located in a beachfront property erected in the 1920s, the clubhouse has a panoramic view of the Intracoastal Waterway as well as the nearby city of Palm Beach. A stunning venue for banquets, weddings, parties, and other occasions, the Palm Beach Sailing Club clubhouse is open to the general public upon request. The Palm Beach Sailing Club's venue size is ideal for a wide range of events and functions. Weddings: Your Palm Beach County park system offers many beautiful outdoor locations for your special occasion. General rules for beach or open grass ceremonies: - There will be no extra charge for a wedding ceremony, nor will a permit be issued for a beach or open grass area. Please note this activity does not provide exclusive access to any area and must not compromise the use of a reserved area by any permit holder. - Wedding ceremonies held on the beach or open grass area must be small intimate gatherings consisting of the bridal party, official and a few guests. - No equipment such as chairs, structures, sound equipment, etc. are permitted to be set up on the beach or open grass area for the ceremony. Hand-held umbrellas are allowed. - Small wedding ceremonies may take place on the beach or an open grass area prior to 8:30am or after 5:00pm and within park operational hours, (sunrise to sunset). These ceremonies may have a maximum duration of twenty minutes. - If your ceremony includes a professional photographer, a daily or annual permit​ is required. - Requests for permits to conduct larger wedding ceremonies and/or a reception will be accommodated at rental facilities​ only. If unavailable, an alternate date or location would need to be considered for permitting. The request will follow all general policies and guidelines for the permitted facility/area. - Alcoholic beverage consumption is allowed at reserved pavilions as long as you have a departmental authorized permit. - The sale of alcoholic beverages, food, merchandise and services is not permitted.

The warm energy of a thousand reds, blues, greens, and pastel pinks pulses through the Pineapple Grove Arts District's Heart Of Delray Gallery. This 1926 construction (previously known as the Vintage Gymnasium) was renovated to maintain its original charm. The hefty wood beams, which appear to be frozen in time, still contain the markings of students who ventured to climb up and scrawl their names in chalk. The Fieldhouse was originally a separate structure that was linked to the Crest Theatre's backstage section during renovation. The original backboards are still in place, even though the Fieldhouse is no longer used for athletic activities. The loft, which previously housed bleacher seating for the "away" teams, now serves as a place to sit or showcase items. The former locker rooms have been transformed into luxurious restrooms. The Fieldhouse has become a popular location for private and community gatherings, as well as other creative endeavors. Old School Square offers a unique, historic setting for any occasion — from weddings, receptions, birthdays, reunions and mitzvahs… to corporate events, banquets and seminars.
