The Space at Irondale occupies a restored nineteenth-century Sunday school in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, giving the 6,000-square-foot hall ceilings that rise 26 to 28 feet and a character the organization describes as "theatrical and contemporary with a historic feeling." A wrap-around balcony on three sides adds 1,900 square feet of gallery and café space, encircled by original stained glass windows. The space accommodates up to 250 guests in flexible configurations and seats 200 at tables with room for a dance floor — well suited to weddings, galas, benefits, and corporate events alongside theatrical productions. More than 150 lighting instruments and a full four-speaker sound system are available for use, and an open vendor policy gives planners full latitude over catering, décor, and other services. The venue sits three blocks from Barclays Center with access to most subway lines and the Long Island Railroad.

Weddings at Union is the wedding program of Union Congregational Church, a century-old stone church on a wide residential street in Upper Montclair, New Jersey. The sanctuary seats up to 400 guests beneath timbered ceilings lit by iron chandeliers and surrounded by Tiffany stained glass windows — an architectural setting uncommon outside historic houses of worship. For smaller celebrations, the Assembly Room accommodates up to 100 guests and comes equipped with 60-inch round tables and chairs. The manicured grounds surrounding the building, with shaped topiary and open lawn, offer additional space for wedding photographs. A Director of Music is available to play organ and piano and can help arrange additional instruments for the ceremony. The church makes no requirements of faith: interfaith couples, same-gender couples, and those who haven't attended services in years are equally and explicitly welcome.

We found a perfect cozy space at the end of an unused alley off the Bowery in the fall of 2004, and Freemans Restaurant was born. The restaurant's concept was to create a rough, secretive colonial American tavern. Early Americans imagined the cuisine to be simple, rustic, and inspired by Old World traditions. We've held everything from weddings and birthday parties to movie premieres, luncheons, wrap parties, bridal showers, and business dinners over the years. For seated dinner parties or cocktail celebrations, Freemans has three private rooms available. The entire second floor, including the drawing room, or the entire restaurant, can be rented for groups of 30 to 200 people. Our intimate working wine cellar provides an exceptional eating environment. In your own private wine cellar, seats 10-12 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner. In an elegant 2nd floor dining room, the Blue Room seats 13-20 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner, or up to 30 guests for a cocktail reception.
