Built in the mid-1800s, the two-story adobe structure served as the headquarters of a sprawling cattle and sheep ranch before evolving through generations of California history. Today, the 4.74-acre property holds Local, State, and National Historic Landmark designations, offering a setting shaped by centuries of California heritage. The grounds — designed by landscape architect Ralph D. Cornell in the 1930s — feature four distinct outdoor and semi-indoor event spaces, from the expansive Backyard with its 150-year-old Moreton Bay Fig tree and Italian Cypresses to the intimate Inner Courtyard centered on a reflecting pond. The property is located in the South Park District of Downtown Los Angeles, just a few blocks from the Convention Center, L.A. Live, the Grammy Museum, the Historic Core, and many other attractions.     The Amy King Dundon-Berchtold University Club of USC occupies King Stoops Hall on the University of Southern California campus in Los Angeles — a former Los Angeles Public Library that underwent a full renovation in 2012 and was renamed in 2016 following a generous gift from Amy King Dundon-Berchtold. The club has served as a gathering place for the USC community for decades, offering settings for formal dining, informal get-togethers, meetings, and private events. The venue accommodates private receptions, weddings, rehearsal dinners, symposiums, and corporate events for up to 180 guests. The adjoining Scriptorium provides an additional 1,450-square-foot meeting and event room with capacity for up to 100.     Whoop Axe is an adventure entertainment venue in South Orange County. It is a plug and play venue for all types of events. With a 10,000 square foot space, Whoop Axe, can host over 300 guests. We have sound, lights, stage, 2,000 square foot dance floor, microphone, projector, and natural seating for 125 guests and we can add seating to accommodate up to 300. Then there is the entertainment side of the venue. Whoop Axe has a list of bands, line dance instructors, and DJs. Entertaining the whole venue at once. As well as 20 axe throwing lanes, a mechanical bull, a rage room, and yard games, that can entertain over 90 guests at a time with activities. Catering is easy. We have a group of vendors that allows for many food options to be available by a simple price point of $15 per person. Alcohol is available for purchase as well.
