Cabrillo Beach Bath House is a historic Mediterranean-style bathhouse built in 1932 on the shore of Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, Los Angeles. Originally constructed as the last major bathhouse in Southern California, the 26,000-square-foot landmark was fully restored in 2002 and is now operated by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks as a special event venue. The bathhouse offers an upstairs ballroom with vaulted ceilings, a hardwood dance floor, and windows that let in natural light, alongside an outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. Together the spaces accommodate up to 200 guests for weddings, receptions, quinceañeras, birthday celebrations, and business meetings — with capacity of 150 when the dance floor is in use. The facility is ADA accessible, with an elevator, automatic restroom doors, and other accessibility features added during the 2002 renovation.

Established in 1915 by Italian immigrant, Cesar Menotti, Townhouse is the oldest bar in Venice and one of the oldest bars in the Los Angeles area. Townhouse's live entertainment basement, The Del Monte, was a true speakeasy during Prohibition (1920-1933) and a night-life nucleus, serving many nefarious and infamous characters of the day, masked cleverly by Menotti's grocery store above. Underneath the rows of produce was a trap door and dumbwaiter that could bring down two guests at a time. Alcohol was brought in by boats from Canada and then smuggled via underground tunnels. Once Prohibition ended in 1933, a staircase was added. Today both floors serve hand-crafted cocktails from the golden age of drinking with classic bartending techniques and know-how and offer a fine library of world-class spirits, beer, and wine. The Del Monte features the crème de la crème of live entertainment including live music, djs, comedy and burlesque, five to seven nights per week.

Pío Pico State Historic Park preserves the restored adobe home of Pío de Jesus Pico, the last Mexican governor of California, on a five-acre property in Whittier that was once part of his 9,000-acre Rancho Paso de Bartolo. The site is registered as California Historic Landmark No. 127 and offers a rare window into mid-19th-century California history. The grounds feature the fifteen-room adobe residence with interpretive displays, a traditional horno (bread oven), a dovecote, and historic gardens — making it a distinctive outdoor setting for weddings, ceremonies, and private events.
