The Alexander Room and Terrace, which is tucked away in the heart of Metairie, is a true jewel. The International Brotherhood of Electricians (IBE) thought of and built the Alexander Room in 1984. The Alexander Room was designed to be a contender among Metairie's event spaces, and that was the goal from the outset of construction. The room was never advertised to the general public as a result of unforeseeable events. The Alexander Room was approached in 2014 with the aim of enlisting the help of Troy and Cindy Timphony of Hobnobber Café to take over the food, administration, and marketing of the space.     Devin and Sarah Noel are young entrepreneurs from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, and Lafayette, Louisiana, respectively. They are a married couple with three sons, all boys. They met in 2016 while both were employed full-time by AT&T. Sarah began decorating small parties for family and friends when she first started out, with ambitions to one day work as an event planner. Devin supported her ideas while also searching for his own life's meaning and calling. He hopes to make a positive contribution to the community. As time went on and their family and duties increased, their ambition began to wane and it became simply impossible to achieve. After their wedding in February 2020, she felt that now was the time for her to give it another shot. As a result of Covid-19, the entire world was forced to shut down the following month. Their ambition had been shattered yet another time. They both continued to work for AT&T, and subsequently concluded that we needed a location where people could communicate in a way that had an impact on society. On June 13, 2021, the Creole Soiree restaurant in Broussard officially opened its doors. They are now members of the Broussard Chamber of Commerce, and they host a monthly community involvement event every month. Individuals should have options and opportunities regardless of their circumstances, as envisioned by our organization. Providing people with a flexible platform to interact and celebrate in their own way is key to our objective of creating opportunity for all.
