West Dover Inn and 1846 Tavern & Restaurant
108 VT-100, West Dover, VT 05356, USA- Spaces for 200 Guests
The 1846 Inn & Tavern (formerly the West Dover Inn) occupies a stagecoach stop and tavern originally built in 1846, restored under longtime family ownership in Vermont's Green Mountains near Mount Snow. The inn continues a hospitality tradition its owners trace back more than 150 years, and it keeps a written record of that history alive through a poem passed from innkeeper to innkeeper, each adding a verse to the property's story. The property offers 12 accommodations alongside the 1846 Tavern, where a chef-driven menu, a raw bar, and rotating craft beers anchor the dining side of the operation. The tavern is open daily on a first-come, first-served basis. For private events, the inn hosts gatherings in its outdoor tent with dedicated servers, on an outdoor patio with fire pits, or in its indoor dining space for smaller groups, with event details and pricing arranged directly with the innkeeper's team.

The Windham Hill Inn
311 Lawrence Dr, West Townshend, VT 05359, USA- Spaces for 125 Guests
Windham Hill Inn is a historic country inn set on 160 acres in the mountains of West Townshend, Vermont. What began as the Lawrence Farm in the early 1800s became a bed and breakfast in 1982 and, under new ownership in 1993, grew into a property whose restaurant was counted among New England's best regarded. A lightning strike in 2021 damaged the inn's main house; new owners took over in 2022, and the property's barn — now home to eight individually designed guest rooms including the North Loft, Meadowlook, and Taft — reopened in 2023, while restoration of the main house continues. The inn welcomes bridal showers, birthday parties, and weddings across its grounds, with two dedicated event spaces: a 1,000-square-foot conference room that opens onto the property's lawns and gardens, suited to larger gatherings, and The Cottage, a more private, all-inclusive space for smaller celebrations. Guests are hosted by innkeepers Jason, Jonathan, and Mark, whose stated mission is to preserve the grace, quiet, and authenticity of Vermont hospitality while restoring the historic property for future generations.

Deerfield Inn has welcomed guests since July 1884, making it one of New England's enduring historic country inns. It sits on Old Main Street in Deerfield, Massachusetts — a village recognized as a National Historic Landmark and surrounded by working farms, period homes, and the pastoral Connecticut River Valley countryside known locally as the Happy Valley. The inn's large white-columned clapboard building retains much of its original character: a robin's egg blue front porch ceiling, the original hayloft door, a cast-iron horse weathercock, and preserved historic flooring. Twenty-four guest rooms are split between the main house and carriage house, and Champney's Restaurant and Tavern anchors the property's dining. For private events, the Terrace Café offers a multi-purpose setting with south-facing windows, French doors to a garden patio, a private bar, and coat check, accommodating up to 70 guests for a reception or 50 for a seated dinner. Champney's Restaurant seats 50 for private dinners in a room with period wallpaper, a fireplace, and chandeliers. The inn hosts weddings, elopements, corporate retreats, and social gatherings — with on-site accommodations so guests can stay through the celebration.

Grafton Inn Vermont
92 Main St, Grafton, VT 05146, USA- Spaces for 200 Guests
Set in the heart of Grafton Village in southern Vermont, The Grafton Inn has welcomed guests since 1801, making it one of the oldest inns in the country. Brothers Francis and Harlan Phelps expanded the property in the late 1800s, adding the third floor and porches that still define its look today, and the Inn's historic guest list has included Ulysses S. Grant, Daniel Webster, and Ralph Waldo Emerson. After decades of decline, the Windham Foundation purchased and restored the Inn in 1965, preserving its country-inn character while modernizing its individually decorated rooms. The Foundation continues to own and operate the property today as the cornerstone of the village. For weddings and private events, the Inn pairs hand-hewn beams and antique furnishings with spaces like the Phelps Barn, the Windham Foundation Room, and the 1801 Tavern's dining rooms, alongside outdoor settings including a swimming pond, community garden, and courtyards. Full-property buyouts, on-site catering and bar service, and a dedicated wedding manager round out the offering, with guest rooms and a full country breakfast available for wedding parties staying on site.
