Despite the fact that our west is no longer the wild and untamed frontier of yesteryear, its difficulties remain genuine, and its environment is still underdeveloped. There is still more to be built in the whiskey industry, and we are positioned now in our common history to embark on our own bold effort. And so we set forth, full of hope and determination, to construct our future and sculpt our Western landscape. Innovativeness is inherent in American Single Malt Whiskey, both in its creation and in its continued presence. Having said that, we don't innovate just for the sake of being innovative. However, we see the chance to offer new ideas to the world of single malt whiskey, and we will continue to be devoted to expressing our provenance. Built in the SoDo neighborhood of downtown Seattle, the 13,000 square-foot building features 40-foot ceilings, exposed original wood beams, and plenty of open space for working and relaxing. There is a spacious Tasting Room and Bar that serves as the main location for entertaining visitors, while the Cask Room adjacent to the Tasting Room provides a more private atmosphere.

Barn for Receptions in the Outdoors Beautiful rustic barn with weathered siding and rock wall exterior that is open on the east side, exposing views of the pond, waterfall, gardens, farm, and mountains. The interior is finished with a wood stove. Its partially enclosed interior is finished with clear cedar and recycled rusted tin, and it opens up to a large patio with a waterfall as well as lush gardens, hanging basket roses, and pergolas, and it has stairways that lead down to an open, grassy lawn. Strings of clear lights are strung across the patio and dance floor, creating an enchanting and romantic ambiance for your reception to take place in. There are numerous picturesque locations for the "first look" and additional photographs on the big day. There are a variety of options for your ceremony location. The facility is located indoors. A large stone fireplace, numerous windows for natural lighting, and beautifully finished hardwood wainscoting are among the highlights of this room. Lighting from an elegant chandelier creates a beautiful and romantic atmosphere.

The National Nordic Museum is an internationally recognized museum and cultural center where people of all backgrounds are welcomed to be inspired by the values, traditions, art, and spirit of the Nordic peoples. Dedicated to collecting, preserving, and educating since its founding in 1980, our institution is the largest museum in the United States to honor the legacy of immigrants from the five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The NNM shares Nordic culture with people of all ages and backgrounds by exhibiting art and objects, preserving collections, providing educational and cultural experiences, and serving as a community gathering place. As a venue, it offers a variety of event spaces suitable for both large and small gatherings. In 2008 Vanessa took over management of the cooking school from her family (Virginia & Mike Duppenthaler) and built out the full-service catering and event design side of the company. Vanessa has been recognized for her savvy business skills, dedication to community involvement and the success of her business by winning the Nellie Cashman Women Owned Business of the Year Award and being named on PSBJ’s 40 under 40 list. Adam was raised in the orcharding industry and brings a deeply ingrained hard work ethic and strive for perfection. Adam found his way to the kitchen while in art school and instantly knew this is where he would spend his career. Adam appreciates the endless opportunity he finds in the kitchen to use his artistic eye while working with beautiful northwest ingredients. He is always developing new skills and techniques and appreciates the instant connection found when culinary professionals chat about food. Founded in Seattle in 1892, the Swedish Club has grown from modest beginnings to become a prominent presence in the Pacific Northwest community. Membership consists not only of Scandinavians, but people of many cultural backgrounds. The Swedish Club is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with the objective of promoting a better understanding between the United States and the Scandinavian countries, through learning about, practicing and celebrating the culture and traditions of Scandinavia, with an emphasis on Sweden. Completed in 1961, the current building overlooks beautiful Lake Union and downtown Seattle, and is ideally located just a few minutes north of downtown Seattle. It serves its members as well as visitors and guests from other parts of the United States and Scandinavia. Among our several prominent visitors over the years has been the Swedish King, Carl XVI Gustaf. The Club hosts a variety of educational and cultural events and celebrates traditional Swedish and American holidays.
