Communion Celebrations Communion Events arose from a flood of requests from members of our community who wanted to utilize our space for their birthday parties, dinner parties, graduation parties, and so on. As a result, we immediately built an events program to meet their needs while also allowing our Coworking members to use the space. With this, we can now provide the main Coworking space after 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day on weekends. We're always seeking for new ways to put the space to creative use, and the events have provided us with an opportunity to do so. We host a number of different events, including public, private, and ticketed events. Communion Restaurant offers a variety of exclusive food and bar choices to ensure that each occasion is a turnkey, one-of-a-kind experience. Each quarter, Communion hosts one public event. This includes our annual Crawfest benefit for Capernaum Young Life (Sean Mann) in the spring, our monthly Artisan Market, and Meet the Heroes, when kids dress up as super heroes and meet our local heroes in the police, fire, and EMT departments. We provide a wide range of ticketed events. We recently established Communion Unplugged, a monthly music series. Santa's Breakfast, Sharing Table multi-course pairing dinners, sporting watch parties, and so on are all on the list. In terms of private gatherings, we can assist with almost any event under 200 people. To mention a few, operas, high school graduations, weddings, receptions, sweet sixteens, baby showers, book launch parties, company parties, Christmas parties, High School dances, church events, and a 50th wedding anniversary... Every event is focused on excellence and execution. We bring the Richardson community together in a variety of ways around a particular experience on any given day through events. With over 25,000 sq ft of usable space the opportunities are endless. We are conveniently located on the Addison Airport, right off of Dallas North Tollway. Our lobby is located within the historic building at 4500 Westgrove Drive. We can host a wide variety of events from charity functions, weddings, company parties, photoshoots, vehicle grand reveals, small concerts, expos and more! Let your imagination run wild as this space is a blank canvas, so you can decorate and make it fit any theme or occasion. There is a huge hangar door what can be opened as much or as little as you prefer. Also, we have heaters in the hangar for cooler days. The circular led freestanding salon type mirrors and white salon style chairs in this area have both sides lit up by LEDs. A 2000 square foot studio/loft space built in 1897. It is the oldest standing building on the square and once was a meeting spot for the Oddfellows. Our original wood floors and brick walls give a charm to this space that cannot be matched. With the added furniture and decor, it feels like stepping into a giant hug. We are a wellness co-op and event space so our studio is really the best for any event. From a yoga class/workshop to business meeting/luncheon to small wedding/shower event. It's flexible and functional for all. Onsite/attached bathroom for guests stocked with soaps, lotions, paper towels and toilet paper. We are located on the second floor of the building and given its age there is only a stairway entry. Please consider this when booking!
