THANK YOU FOR VISITING THE HILL Longtime residents and visitors alike fall in love with the community's strong sense of history and identity, which is enhanced by its small village feel in the heart of Washington. In contrast to the awe-inspiring sights of the Capitol and Supreme Court, other streets are lined with charming rowhouses and public parks. AROUND THE CURRENT CORNER Capitol Hill's shops, restaurants, and cafes, which stretch from Pennsylvania Avenue to Eastern Market and Barracks Row, continue to entice both locals and visitors alike. Visit nearby attractions such as the National Mall and Smithsonian museums, or take a bike ride along some of the most beautiful streets in the United States. HOW TO GET HERE Washington's easternmost border is formed by Capitol Hill, which provides easy access to major highways, several Metro lines, and Union Station. A number of Capital Bikeshare stations are also located in the area, particularly to the east of the Capitol. Walking or cycling around the neighborhood is a breeze because the blocks are relatively short and flat. America's Square is an iconic and irreplaceable piece of DC real estate, and the OBSERVATORY is located on top of it. AMERICA'S SQUARE, JOINED BY A DRAMATIC GLASS ATRIUM, IS COMPOSED OF TWO DISTINCTIVE BUILDINGS UNIQUE TO THEMSELVES. LOUISIANA AVENUE is a beautiful, historic building that was originally constructed in 1935 and boasts a classic limestone facade, a two-story marble lobby with Greek columns, and finished ceiling heights of nearly 12 feet. 51 LOUISIANA AVENUE is located in the heart of the historic district of New Orleans. In 2009, Lord Richard Rogers designed a glass and steel building at 300 New Jersey Avenue in New York City that is bold and innovative. When the sun goes down, The Dubliner comes to life with Irish entertainers who take the stage every night. We provide the very best in Irish entertainment seven nights a week, with everything from soulful ballads and airs to rousing jigs and reels to choose from. As we've grown, we've established the Phoenix Park Hotel as "America's Center of Irish Hospitality," which was recently renovated. As a Capitol Hill institution, we welcome guests who understand that, in the words of Daniel O'Connell, the great Irish statesman, "the hospitality of an Irishman... springs, like all of his qualities, his faults, and his virtues, directly from the heart." Alternatively, if I am not present, please say hello to my son Gavin or nephew Danny, who are both 3rd generation Publicans and are currently in charge of the establishment. To all of our guests, we extend a heartfelt Cead Mile Failte - a heartfelt welcome. Enjoy your pint, your meal, and the music while you're at it. In addition to fundraising events, The Dubliner has experience hosting rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, retirement parties, birthday parties, and a wide variety of other private parties. It doesn't matter whether you're planning a formal dinner, a cocktail reception, or a small gathering at one of our bars; The Dubliner is the ideal location for your next special occasion. Are you looking for that authentic Irish pub experience? The Main Bar Room at the Dubliner is the perfect place to start. The Main Bar Room, which features over 50 different types of Irish whiskey, Guinness and craft brews on tap, as well as live music every night, is the ideal location for your happy hour, holiday party, or late-night gathering. The President's Bar has truly earned its moniker after serving President Barack Obama his first pint of Guinness on St. Patrick's Day 2012, among other occasions. This space is ideal for smaller receptions of 25 people, but it can also be combined with The Snug or the Parlor to accommodate events of up to 150 people. The Snug provides the most privacy, making it an excellent choice for private lunches, business meetings, rehearsal dinners, or even larger cocktail receptions and receptions. Mosaic tile flooring, a service bar, and a television with presentation capabilities are all included in this newly renovated area. Renovations completed in September 2019 include the construction of a new terrace with a door. This all-seasons patio space is equipped with bi-fold windows that provide an a la fresca experience in the summer months while remaining fully insulated during the cooler months. Providing cold beer and wine, the service station can be transformed into a satellite bar for cocktail receptions and other events.

The wine list, which is constantly evolving, includes categories such as Savory Whites and Smoky Reds - all of which have been selected to complement Chef Rafidi's menus. Albi, a restaurant in Washington, D.C.'s Navy Yard neighborhood, is owned and operated by Michael Rafidi, who is also the chef. A creative update to traditional Arabic cuisine, using Modern techniques and the best ingredients the Mid-Atlantic has to offer, the menus are offered at the restaurant. His Palestinian ancestors and his grandmother's cooking served as inspiration for this piece. Rafidi spent a countless number of years cooking everything but Arabic food all over the country until he decided to open Albi in 2017. Rafidi was named Eater DC's Chef of the Year in 2017 and was a finalist for the RAMMY Award for Rising Star Chef at the 2018 RAMMY Awards, which were presented by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington. Rafidi spent six years working alongside Michael Mina as executive chef of the acclaimed French restaurant RN74 in San Francisco, as well as the Mina Group's corporate chef, before making his mark on the District's restaurant scene. He assisted the culinary management of the group's multinational properties and was instrumental in the opening of eight of those concepts in his capacity as a consultant. Rafidi grew up in Maryland and has worked at a number of well-regarded East Coast establishments, including the Blue Duck Tavern in Washington, D.C., and Talula's Garden in Philadelphia. His stage time at chef René Redzepi's internationally acclaimed Noma restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark, helped to develop his appreciation for foraging and other culinary techniques from around the world, which he later applied to his own cooking.
