Formerly the home of the Fillmore West and Carousel Ballroom, SVN West amps up any event through three floors of raw venue space that are steeped in musical history. The main hall, reverently named Carousel, showcased dozens of concerts during its brief operation from 1968 to 1971, including musical legends like the Grateful Dead, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, B.B. King, Miles Davis, Aretha Franklin, and more. Conveniently located at the intersection of SF’s two main thoroughfares (South Van Ness and Market), SVN West features over 100,000 sq. ft. of event space. The open floor plan offers maximum versatility and includes Carousel and its adjacent rooftop, along with a spacious mezzanine and additional ground floor event space. The space dates back to the late 1920’s when El Patio Ballroom opened there, hosting swing and big band musicians like Les Brown, Woody Herman, Stan Kenton, and Harry James. At some point, it became the Carousel Ballroom which operated up until 1968 when Bill Graham took it over. After about six months, he changed the name to Fillmore West (Fillmore East being his auditorium in New York City) which hosted some of the biggest names in rock and roll during its brief three year run. The elegant exterior of the Club was created by renowned architects Walter Bliss and William Faville, who were inspired by the Renaissance's Italianate style to create an attractive, ageless structure. The Clubhouse's beauty and warm ambience are suitable for the Club's various member functions. The University Club of San Francisco was established with the goal of providing a gathering place for alumni from various colleges. The Clubhouse's first location was rented at 722 Sutter Street. It was eventually regarded too tiny to accommodate the rising membership, despite its elegance. In the historic earthquake of 1906, the Club's original location at 722 Sutter was demolished, and the majority of the building was devoured by fire. 800 Powell, once the Stanford Mansion's stables, was chosen as the location for the new Clubhouse. The Club's new edifice was designed by renowned architects Walter Bliss and William Faville.

Venue 412 is a 12,422 sq ft, two-level event venue at 412 Broadway in San Francisco's North Beach, on the edge of the Financial District. We host corporate events, wedding receptions, brand activations, fashion shows, product launches, fundraisers and galas, milestone birthdays, music video shoots, and private buyouts for groups up to 400. The rental includes a full A/V package (PA, professional lighting, video to eleven HD displays, wireless mics, Pioneer DJ booth), in-house catering through our commercial kitchen, two private dressing rooms, four unisex rest rooms, and an artist green room. Everything is included with the venue rental. Four blocks from the FiDi hotel cluster. Massively customizable space allows for infinite possibilities for any kind of event.

Inspired by Italian landscapes and old-world villas, Regale Winery provides an opportunity to share the relaxed and sophisticated lifestyle that surrounds the production of wine. Time seems to stop upon walking into our colorful and intimate garden vignettes featuring beautiful fountains, heirloom roses, a spiral herb garden, outdoor fireplaces, a bocce ball court, and a traditional wood-fired oven. Three varieties of olive trees line the property from which we hand-pick and press the olives to produce our Estate Olive Oil. Welcoming and intimate, the second floor dining room features a vaulted travertine ceiling, Italian fresco paintings, Venetian plaster, and ornate fireplaces to create an old-world Tuscan atmosphere. The room opens onto a heated, open-air terrace with breathtaking views of the coastal range and our formal gardens.
