Swine Creek Reservation is a 412-acre park managed by the Geauga Park District, set in the countryside of Middlefield Township among Amish farms. The reservation features a working sugarbush, six miles of trails across diverse natural landscapes, and a range of outdoor recreation — making it a distinctive setting for group gatherings and nature-centered celebrations. Several facilities are available for private rental. Swine Creek Lodge is an indoor venue with a kitchen and restrooms, situated beside a pond. Three outdoor shelters — Woods Edge, Lake Side, and Valley — each accommodate up to 150 guests and are equipped with picnic tables and grills, well suited to reunions, picnics, and informal private events.

Chickagami Park is a wooded park in Parkman Township, Ohio, managed by the Geauga Park District. Formerly operated as a Boy Scout camping facility, the park sits within the headwaters of the Grand River watershed and encompasses wetlands, streams, and uplands that make it a distinctive natural setting for outdoor gatherings. Two open-air shelters — Pine Grove and Overlook — are available by reservation for private events, picnics, and celebrations. Pine Grove Shelter accommodates up to 150 guests and features 12 picnic tables, electrical outlets, and a grill, with vault-style restrooms nearby. Overlook Shelter hosts up to 75 guests and looks out over the park's wetland meadow, offering 10 picnic tables, electrical outlets, and a grill with nearby restrooms. Shelters are reservable year-round and available for all occasions. Beyond its event facilities, the park offers four trails totaling 1.62 miles, horseshoe pits, an activity field, and 13 campsites. Reservations are made at least seven days in advance by contacting the Geauga Park District at (440) 286-9516.

The restaurant is known for its stunning skyline views, exceptional service, and warm, elegant ambiance. Combining modern coastal aesthetics with a rustic warehouse charm, Acqua Di Dea offers a Mediterranean-inspired menu featuring fresh seafood, unique pasta dishes, and expertly prepared steaks.

Mooreland Mansion is a historic event center on the campus of Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio. Originally built as a summer estate for Cleveland financier Edward William Moore, the neo-classical mansion was designed by architect Arthur N. Oviatt and later expanded in 1906 by Milton Dyer. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the mansion underwent a $3 million renovation before reopening in 1998 as a venue for meetings, conferences, banquets, and special events. The mansion's first-floor rooms retain many original details, from the wood-paneled Foyer and its original grandfather clock to the President's Living Room, which still holds an original Steinway grand piano and brick fireplace. The Oviatt Room can be arranged as a banquet space, dance floor, classroom, or auditorium, while the Restoration Room features a bar salvaged from Moore's private railroad car. The South Verandah, a covered outdoor porch, accommodates seating, a dance floor, and cocktail-hour high-top tables overlooking the grounds. Upstairs, several rooms furnished with original Moore family pieces serve meetings and conferences. The estate's grounds include three distinct gardens - a Rose Garden with roughly 1,000 roses, a Green Garden built on a former tennis court, and a Formal Garden blending Victorian geometry with English cottage style - maintained by the Mooreland Restoration Garden Club and used as a backdrop for events and photography.

Kirtland Country Club occupies the former Leo Doro Farms, the estate of Mrs. Henry A. Everett, whose 1910 stone mansion serves today as the Club's Tudor-style Clubhouse. Stockholders purchased the property in 1920, and the Club formally opened on July 9, 1921. A fire destroyed the original Clubhouse in 1975; it was rebuilt and reopened the following year, then renovated again in 2008 to add the Club Room and restore the West Porch's fireplace and French doors. A private, member-owned club in Willoughby, Ohio, Kirtland hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions either inside the Clubhouse or on the lawn overlooking its formal gardens. The Clubhouse accommodates up to 250 guests, and the lawn up to 500. The Club's Catering & Events Manager oversees menu selection, vendor coordination, and reception timelines, and the Club also welcomes couples' own independent wedding planners. Events require membership or a member sponsor, and the Club provides all food and beverage service for every celebration held there.

Penitentiary Glen Reservation is a 424-acre nature preserve in Kirtland, Ohio, managed by Lake Metroparks. The park takes its name from a 100-foot deep gorge that earned the nickname "Penitentiary Glen" from settlers in the 1880s — the gorge was easy to enter but hard to escape, much like a jail. The grounds encompass forests, fields, wetlands, and 8.5 miles of hiking trails, and have been recognized as a "Watchable Wildlife" site by Ohio's Division of Wildlife. For private events, Forest Hall in the Nature Center accommodates up to 120 guests in a climate-controlled, wheelchair-accessible multipurpose room fitted with kitchen facilities and audio-visual equipment. Rabbit Run Shelter offers smaller outdoor gatherings for up to 75 guests. The grounds also include the Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center, which rehabilitates approximately 2,000 injured or orphaned animals each year, and Lake Shore Live Steamers miniature steam train rides — distinctive features that give the reservation a naturalistic character unlike traditional event venues.

The building was once home to Camp Klein, a United Methodist Church residence camp that operated from 1955 to 1997, before Lake Metroparks took over the property and renovated it into classrooms, lab space, meeting rooms, offices, and an observatory. The Environmental Learning Center is available to rent for weddings and receptions, graduation parties, birthday celebrations, and corporate or civic functions. Renters have access to several indoor spaces along with the surrounding grounds, including large patios, an outdoor fireplace, and pergolas, making it suited to both indoor gatherings and events that spill outside into the wooded setting. The facility is normally open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closes to visitors whenever it has been reserved for a private event.
