The land and structures at 35 Panhandle Road in West Tisbury are steeped in history, and this is evident throughout the property. It was formerly owned by Edwin Newhall "Bob" Woods (the great-grandson of founding father and first Secretary of the Society, Henry L. Whiting), and it now contains the "new" Agricultural Hall, two animal barns, an outdoor riding ring, and outbuildings. The Agricultural Hall was built on 20+ acres at the intersection of State and Panhandle Roads. Surrounded by open space with old growth trees dispersed throughout and backed on one side by a big hayfield, the location emanates peace and beauty typical of rural settings. A wooden barn formerly located in rural New Hampshire was meticulously demolished board by board, numbered labeled, packed, and packaged before being transported to the island by 42 volunteer 'Barnbusters' in the spring of 1994. In November of that year, hundreds of people from all around the island came together in a confluence of generosity to assist in the raising, sheathing, shingling, and painting of the 'new' Hall. Adding a front hall and verandah in the style and spirit of the 'old' Ag Hall, which is now known as the Grange Hall, on State Road, was a priority. It is possible to rent out the land for a limited number of events such as weddings and funerals, as well as religious, non-profit, educational, and governmental functions, as well as agricultural and allied operations. Birthday and anniversary parties are not permitted at this time. In addition to being a National Historic Landmark, the Lyman Estate, also known as "the Vale," is considered to be one of the finest examples of a country estate built in the style of eighteenth-century English naturalistic design in the United States. For his family's residence in 1793, shipping merchant Theodore Lyman commissioned renowned architect Samuel McIntire to design and construct a Federal-style residence. The house was first expanded in the Victorian style in 1882, and then remodeled in the Colonial Revival style in 1917, under the direction of the family. The thirty-seven-acre property includes gardens that have been meticulously preserved as well as historic greenhouses. During a tour of the mansion, which is now a wedding and corporate event venue, you can learn about the history of the Lyman family. One of the building's architectural features is a graceful oval parlor and an elegant ballroom, both of which can be seen in the upcoming film adaptation of Little Women. Pay a visit to the Lyman Estate Greenhouses for stunning plants and knowledgeable advice. Historic New England is adhering to all applicable state, local, and CDC safety regulations for the Waltham location. All employees and visitors are required to wear protective masks. For almost 35 years, the Dennis Inn, located in the tranquil seaside community of Dennis, MA, has provided a wonderful location for weddings, receptions, family reunions, holiday parties, and many other celebratory occasions. Treats Catering, our sister company, is the sole caterer for all events held at the Dennis Inn. If you want to have an unforgettable Cape Cod celebration, come to the Dennis Inn and join us. Because the Dennis Inn only accommodates one wedding reception per day, you will have complete freedom to design your day around you, with full access to the Inn and grounds. With a large tent on our wide grounds, we can accommodate up to 250 guests for indoor gatherings and up to 100 visitors for outdoor functions. The Inn also features a wonderful suite of rooms on the second floor that can accommodate up to eight guests. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and entertainment area, and a powder room make up this wedding suite. A beautiful in-ground pool and wide back yard complete out the Inn's amenities, perfect for entertaining the day before the wedding or hosting a farewell brunch the day after. Saturday receptions require a minimum of 100 guests from Memorial Day through Columbus Day. The Inn offers a discounted rate for receptions without overnight accommodations. Because we are open all year, we can also accommodate Friday, Sunday, and off-season receptions. Scott has been a chef for the last 18 years and has worked at various restaurants in New York City that have earned a Michelin star. Some of these places include Jean-Georges flagship restaurant on Columbus circle and Charlie Palmer's Aureole. His most recent position was as executive chef at Sutton Inn, where he was awarded two Michelin recommendations, a four-star rating from the Daily News, and was named one of Manhattan's top 10 American restaurants by OpenTable for five years in a row. In 1971, we constructed the first version of this home on property that belonged to the family... I have been a permanent resident of this area ever since that time. In 1989, we completely refurbished the home and expanded on to it in order to turn it into a seven-room inn that is light, clean, and spacious. The structure has always had an expansive covered wrap-around porch on the east and north sides. This porch, combined with the other common spaces and lawns, provides sufficient room for visitors to enjoy an evening of unhurried activity. As a result of our location at the very western tip of the island, we are privy to some of the most breathtaking scenery, panoramas, beach breezes, and sunsets in all of Martha's Vineyard.

Sea Captain Uriah Howe originally built the Barn that now houses the Borsari Gallery in the early 1800s. The barn's first purpose was to serve as a commercial abattoir for Cape Cod and its environs. The Crowell family held the Sea Captain's home and abattoir for for a century, until it was purchased by Cape Cod local artist David Grose in 1960 and utilized to showcase his work. Bob and Kathy Borsari bought the property in 2008 and undertook a three-year renovation that was both elaborate and historically appropriate. The post and beam construction was lovingly restored to its original New England rustic elegance. The original pumpkin pine flooring was exposed, the century-old "ice box" was used, and the historic 1800s track & pulley system that was employed on the property when it was an operating abattoir was displayed. It was at this point that the barn's original beauty was revealed. While the original goal of the restoration was to create a setting that would allow Bob and Kathy to continue the history of presenting good art, it was clear by the end that they had produced much more than an art gallery. As a result, the Borsari Gallery was born: "Exceptional Image & Memorable Events." A pleasant and sophisticated environment with plenty of atmosphere; an ideal and surely unusual place for small gatherings of up to 100 people.

Opened by the Bliss Family in May 2004, Crystal Lake Golf Club sits on Route 102 in Burrillville, Rhode Island, overlooking Crystal Lake and the course's 18th green. The 23,000-square-foot clubhouse combines golf, dining, and event space under one roof, giving weddings and private events a waterfront backdrop most banquet halls can't match. Martha’s Vineyard’s oldest continuously working family farm, the Allen Farm in Chilmark consists of 100 acres of rolling pastures and meadows bounded by historic stonewalls, upper Chilmark Pond and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Jonathan Allen originally purchased the farm in 1762, and ten years later his oldest son, Tristram, built the timber-framed farmhouse, which still sits just off of South Road in Chilmark. We restored the house in 1998, incorporating grey water and Clivus Multrum composting systems into the ancient fabric of the historic structure. The farmhouse and all its attendant outbuildings are very representative of the heritage of traditional New England farmsteads. In 1975 Clarissa Allen, then in her early twenties, inherited the farm and together with her husband Mitchell Posin, they began the difficult and challenging task of bringing to fruition their vision for a viable and sustainable working farm.

First Parish in Framingham Unitarian Universalist is a historic religious community and event venue situated next to Framingham Common in Framingham, Massachusetts. Established in 1700 as the Church of Christ in Framingham, the congregation has gathered on this site for over three centuries, making it one of the oldest continuously active communities in the region. The Meetinghouse, built in 1926, is described on the venue's rental page as "a beautiful, historic building" and offers a classically designed New England sanctuary with white wooden pews, columns, arched ceilings, and a red-carpeted aisle. The space accommodates up to 200 guests and is available for weddings, memorial services, and lecture series. The small-scale vegetable and flower farm Slip Away Farm is located on Chappaquiddick, a small island separated from Martha's Vineyard by a 527-foot ferry trip. Our mission is to provide our Island community with high-quality, organically cultivated flowers, fruits, and veggies. With the aid of her brother Christian and good friend Collins Heavener, Lily Walter founded Slip Away Farm in 2012. We started the farm on a one-acre lease in Katama, Martha's Vineyard, and delivered vegetables by bicycle to Chappaquiddick homeowners. Slip Away was relocated to the Marshall Farm on Chappy in 2013, a property jointly held by the Martha's Vineyard Land Bank and the Vineyard Trust. We acknowledge and respect the Chappaquiddick Wampanoag tribe's ancestral and contemporary homeland on this property.
