Franny's Farm is an active organic farm spanning over 50 acres along the rolling hills of South Turkey Creek in Leicester, North Carolina, 10 miles from downtown Asheville. Over the years, the farm has welcomed more than 300,000 visitors for gatherings ranging from intimate weddings and wellness retreats to large music festivals, farm camps, and educational workshops. The full 33 acres can be exclusively reserved for private events, giving groups access to a 3-acre dedicated venue space that encompasses an event barn, vegetable and flower gardens, open fields, and a pond. An 1,800-square-foot covered event space sits at the heart of the property, suited for ceremonies, receptions, and celebrations of all kinds. The outdoor event area is equipped with seating for up to 50 guests, café lighting, a 30-foot concrete service counter, and a bonfire area. Franny's Farm books one event at a time. Venue rentals include access to the barn, garden, pond, fields, and parking area, with optional overnight accommodations in eco-cabins, farmhouses, and a campsite on the property.

The Cliffs at Mountain Park is a private mountain community set on roughly 2,000 acres in Marietta, South Carolina, along a river valley in the Blue Ridge foothills, about 25 minutes from Greenville and 45 minutes from Asheville. The property sits near 1,794 feet in elevation, giving it a noticeably cooler climate through the summer months than the surrounding lowlands. At the center of the community is The Cabin, a rustic clubhouse built with repurposed materials and known for its wraparound veranda overlooking the mountains and a fire pit for evening gatherings. A recent renovation doubled the size of its main dining room and outdoor patio and added an intimate space for private parties alongside an expanded kitchen, giving the property more room to host larger social occasions and celebrations. The Cabin's culinary program has been recognized with a Golden Fork Award for Best New Private club dining. Beyond The Cabin, Mountain Park offers a Gary Player Signature golf course that runs along the North Saluda River, along with a wellness center, tennis, pickleball, and padel courts, a resort-style pool, and access to hiking, mountain biking, and river fishing throughout the property. The Sports Pavilion adds an outdoor amphitheater and dining pavilion used for gatherings under the stars.

The Zebulon B. Vance Birthplace State Historic Site sits in the Reems Creek Valley, about 12 miles northeast of Asheville near Weaverville, North Carolina. The site preserves a pioneer mountain plantation from the early 1800s, featuring seven historic and reconstructed buildings — including a two-story log cabin homestead and an original 1790s slave dwelling — alongside a visitor center with interactive exhibits that interpret daily life in the Blue Ridge Mountains during that era. For private events, the site offers an outdoor picnic shelter and adjacent 1/6-acre field, set against panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The outdoor rental area accommodates up to 150 guests and is available during normal operating hours as well as outside those hours when staffing allows. Admission to the site is free, and the venue is open Tuesday through Saturday.
