Blue Door is an intimate cocktail lounge and private event venue hidden behind its signature secret blue door in Charlotte’s South End. With a moody, elevated atmosphere and multiple flexible spaces, the venue works beautifully for cocktail receptions, corporate gatherings, celebrations, rehearsal events, intimate dinners and full-venue buyouts. The Main Bar features a full-service bar with 12 seats, seven tables arranged along a curved banquette, a baby grand piano, small DJ booth and open standing space surrounding an elbow-height bar top. The tables can be rearranged to create different layouts and accommodate groups of varying sizes, from intimate seated gatherings to larger cocktail-style receptions. Hidden behind another secret door, the Private Dining Room offers a more intimate and customizable event space. It features a Samsung Frame TV for presentations or custom displays, a finishing kitchen allowing clients to bring in their own caterer, and curtains that can be drawn to make the room feel even more private. The space can be configured with one or two long or shorter dining tables, or with five cocktail-style tables with or without bar stools, making it adaptable for private dinners, meetings, presentations and cocktail receptions.

Whitehead Manor Conference Center occupies a 3-acre estate in Charlotte's SouthPark neighborhood, built around a historic home more than 100 years old. Exposed wood details, wraparound porches, towering oak trees, and manicured gardens set the property apart from conventional hotel or office settings — offering a quieter, more characterful backdrop for meetings, workshops, and private celebrations. The facility pairs the original manor house with a modern conference center and outdoor courtyard, giving event planners flexibility across multiple layout styles, including lounge, classroom, theater, seminar, and U-shape configurations. On-site event managers coordinate setup and custom furniture arrangements. A/V equipment — 85-inch Samsung Frame TVs, Bluetooth speakers, flipcharts, whiteboards, and full microphone and speaker systems — is available throughout. The Oaks Events is a private lakeside venue set on 100 acres of farmland in Midland, North Carolina, located just outside Charlotte. The property centers on a four-acre lake surrounded by mature oak tree canopies and open landscaped grounds, offering a setting that works equally well for rustic-chic celebrations and more formal affairs. The Gazebo Ceremony Area sits directly on the lake, featuring high natural wood ceilings and scenic water views — with seating for more than 300 guests. For receptions, the 4,000-square-foot Pavilion is a fully enclosed, climate-controlled space with a chandelier over the dance floor, café lighting throughout, and a front patio with a firepit overlooking the lake. A dedicated catering prep room and restrooms are included within the Pavilion space. The on-site Event House sleeps up to 10 guests and includes a bridal suite, three bedrooms, a billiards room, and two sitting areas with fireplaces — making it possible to host a full weekend celebration without leaving the property.
