Set on Pittsburgh's North Side in Allegheny Square, the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh offers a 27,400-square-foot campus of interactive exhibits and event-ready spaces for weddings, galas, corporate gatherings, and celebrations. Renting the museum gives guests private access to its exhibits and installations, with options ranging from a full-museum buyout for up to 1,000 guests to smaller, more intimate rooms. The Big Red Room is the museum's most formal venue, with a marble interior and award-winning lighting suited to seated banquets and receptions. The Studio and Backyard pairs an artistic indoor space, where guests can try silkscreen printing, with an outdoor backyard featuring a swing set and stone artifacts, making it a favorite for ceremonies and casual receptions alike. Holy Trinity Center is a banquet and special-event facility in McCandless Township, in Pittsburgh's North Hills, sitting across from UPMC Passavant hospital and La Roche College. Operated by Hampton Banquet Hall, the center has been recommended as a special-occasion facility in the tri-state area for many years and hosts wedding receptions, anniversaries, showers, business meetings, and reunions. The centerpiece is the Grand Room, a 4,600-square-foot banquet space with an 18-foot coffered ceiling, alabaster lighting, cherry wainscot, and a 720-square-foot parquet dance floor that seats up to 320 guests for dinner or 500 theater-style. The Gallery, a light-filled promenade lined with arched windows, opens onto an outdoor patio, while the Conference Room and Fireside Room offer smaller, more intimate settings for meetings and gatherings of up to 70. Full-service catering, an in-house chef, a fully stocked bar, and dedicated event planners support every event, and each room includes built-in audio-visual equipment and high-speed WiFi.
