CYPRESS HALL Chandelier lighting, floor-to-ceiling windows, and crisp white walls provide the perfect canvas for your custom, tailored reception. The Cypress Hall is our largest indoor space and can be easily personalized to suit your needs. The Courtyard neighbors the Cypress Hall and is often used as a cocktail hour space for larger events. SYCAMORE RESTAURANT The Sycamore Room shows a refined elegance with a casual Californian lifestyle to match. Surrounded with historical images of the Club's past, there are endless pieces to gaze at. Cozy chairs and tables are already set up, but banquet tables and chairs can be brought in per request. Adjacent to the Sycamore Balcony and Kikuyu Lounge, these spaces can be combined to create a larger, cohesive space for your event. OAK GROVE Our newest event space nestled under an old oak tree will give your event a natural charm. Views of the Golf Course will be enjoyed by all. Events must start at dusk after the Golf Course is closed. KIKUYU LOUNGE This space is the perfect area for a small gathering or cocktail hour. Comfortable furniture provides you and your guests an intimate room to enjoy your special occasion. Adjacent to the Sycamore Dining Room, these spaces can be combined to create a larger room for your event TERRACE This outdoor patio may have the best views in the entire Club. Take in the natural beauty of the Chevy Chase Canyon while dining in the fresh air. COURTYARD The Courtyard is often used for cocktail hours, or for small wedding ceremonies. With a fireplace, fountain and gorgeous views, this space is lovely in any season. It borders the Cypress Hall, so your guests can easily move between the two spaces.

The Athena Restaurant can be found in the middle of Glendale, California, and was created to have an ambience that is comparable to that of an open-air villa in Greece. The restaurant includes seating areas both indoors and outside. Traditional Greek food is served at this brand-new restaurant that spans 9,449 square feet and features private rooms suitable for hosting a variety of occasions. Los Coyotes Country Club in Buena Park is a fantastic place to hold your dream wedding. The ceremony areas can accommodate up to 180 guests and offer a beautiful outdoor setting with flowering hibiscus and spectacular lake and fountain views, making them ideal for a country club wedding. Is it necessary to book a large wedding venue? While Los Coyotes is excellent for any size wedding, the Grand Ballroom's patio, which can accommodate up to 350 people, is ideal for a larger wedding ceremony. From an elevated vantage point, the terrace offers broad views of the groomed course. The Cypress Palm Room, which seats up to 200 people and has french doors that overlook the lake, is ideal for indoor parties or celebrations. The Griffith Park Visitor Center Auditorium is situated in the heart of Park Center within Griffith Park, one of the largest urban parks in the United States. Located at 4730 Crystal Springs Drive in Los Angeles, the auditorium provides a casual, welcoming setting for meetings, receptions, and special events, accommodating up to 99 guests. Just outside the building, a beautifully landscaped native garden offers additional outdoor gathering space, complete with picnic tables and barbeques. The garden is also home to a striking ceramic mural that traces the history of Griffith Park and pays tribute to two trailblazing Park Rangers who shaped the park's legacy. In recent years, Derrick Pipkin has gained widespread recognition throughout Southern California for his work in the entertainment industry, particularly for his massively successful Party In Palm Springs extravaganza and annual Mother's Day Jazz Festival. After years of successfully combining business and entertainment, Derrick has recently added the title of restaurateur to his long list of accomplishments and is looking forward to the future. Since the summer 2010 opening of PIPS on La Brea, the PIPS experience has continued to impress foodies and music lovers alike, thanks to Live Jazz on a newly-renovated patio. Luis Carrizo is a Master Chef who has worked all over the world. Chef Luis Carrizo, of Salvat, Argentina, was introduced to South American, Argentinean, and Mediterranean cuisine by his parents, who were born in Spain. Argentina and Brazil were the final destinations for his professional training and culinary education. Following graduation, he worked his way up the ranks to become the Executive Chef for Events at the Hotel Turista in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the prestigious Hyatt Hotel in Santiago, Chile, among other places. Luis Carrizo Salvat traveled to the United States in the late 1990s to further his professional and personal interests in cooking. He accepted the position of Executive Chef at Minotaure Tapas Restaurant & Wine Bar in Playa Del Rey, California, which is well-known for being a fine-dining Spanish restaurant with a Mediterranean influence. In addition to serving as a consultant for numerous restaurant openings, Chef Luis Carrizo Salvat continues to develop menus for businesses such as Farmer's Grove and California City Market. The success of his own catering business, "Flavors of the World," in Woodland Hills has led to the formation of another.

The La Cañada Thursday Club, a beautiful, historic gem of a property, is located in the heart of La Cañada Flintridge. Built in 1926, the facility has been the setting for many wedding celebrations and other special events. The clubhouse has many amenities, including a ballroom with an elevated stage, tea room, bridal suite, and kitchen. The outdoor courtyard is a private walled area that has arched wrought iron gates, a large fountain, a majestic oak tree, and a mature garden. The venue accommodates up to 130 guests and has a private, spacious parking lot. Facilities and Capacity The secluded courtyard is a perfect location for your ceremony—a floral pergola arches over the gate and provides a colorful background for the moment you both say ‘I do’. Rows of seats can be set out for your guests to watch. Here, a Spanish-tiled water fountain, paving, flower beds, and shade-providing trees all combine to create a beautiful walled-garden effect. The courtyard can also be arranged to host your reception. In setting out round tables, chairs, centerpieces, cutlery, and plates, it becomes a beautiful place to experience al fresco dining. Although couples and their guests can provide their own alcohol, staff can be made available to serve drinks. Other Services The wedding party can have access to the venue for 10 hours. From the treetops to the rivers, creatures are crawling, flying, slithering, hiding, sleeping, and living. Detailed sculptures, educational graphics, and architectural elements create an immersive experience for guests, while specific animal highlights include amazing critters from piranhas and giant otters, to harpy eagles and jaguars. The Elephants of Asia habitat includes features that are dedicated to the health and welfare of the elephants, such as bathing pools, sandy hills, varied topography, enrichment opportunities, and a state of the art barn that is capable of caring for elephants of all ages. Elephants of Asia focuses on the rich connection between elephants and the cultures of Thailand, India, China, and Cambodia. The exhibit familiarizes guests with the challenges Asian elephants face in the wild, including their shrinking natural habitat, and gives visitors the opportunity to directly contribute to conservation programs that support elephants in their native countries. The LAIR (currently closed during Phase 1 of the Zoo's reopening) encompasses several visually stunning areas that include habitats for various unique and endangered species. Over 60 species of amphibians, invertebrates, and reptiles are represented in this assortment of living jewels. Rancho Los Cerritos is a historic home and gardens nestled in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach, California. Built in the mid-1800s, the two-story adobe structure served as the headquarters of a sprawling cattle and sheep ranch before evolving through generations of California history. Today, the 4.74-acre property holds Local, State, and National Historic Landmark designations, offering a setting shaped by centuries of California heritage. The grounds — designed by landscape architect Ralph D. Cornell in the 1930s — feature four distinct outdoor and semi-indoor event spaces, from the expansive Backyard with its 150-year-old Moreton Bay Fig tree and Italian Cypresses to the intimate Inner Courtyard centered on a reflecting pond. A Petite Garden provides privacy for smaller gatherings, while the Sun Porch is the venue's only fully enclosed indoor space, with glass walls looking out onto the courtyard. Together, the spaces accommodate events from small luncheons of 40 to large wedding receptions of up to 350 guests. Overview Despite being only two stories tall and dwarfed by its surroundings, this dazzling black-and-gold terra cotta building with zigzag modern ornamentation commands attention despite its small size. Morgan, Walls, and Clements, one of the oldest continuously operating architectural firms on the West Coast and a driving force in the development of various forms of revival and moderne architecture in Los Angeles, designed the building. A notable feature of the structure is that it is one of the city's last remaining black-and-gold Art Deco structures, and that it is a scaled-down version of the firm's downtown Richfield building (built in 1928; demolished in 1968). It was originally constructed as a neighborhood branch bank, and it served in this capacity until 1970. The building was originally used as a restaurant/nightclub, and it was later converted into a Christian center. After years of disrepair, the building was beautifully restored and converted into short- and long-term creative office space for rent. It is also available for private parties and special events.

5401 Olympic House is a traditionally lovely and airy, small location to celebrate your wedding with your closest friends and family. Your guests will enter the exclusive estate through the exquisite wooden gate, which provides a delicate, romantic appeal and complements the expansive front yard. The ceremony will be placed in a small and cozy outdoor area, which will be enjoyed by your guests. The party will continue outside during the reception, with your guests dancing the night away beneath the stars. This private estate, built in the 1920s, is a photographer's dream, as it has been utilized for a variety of filming productions. The door's carved elements add elegance while remaining simple, and they make a lovely backdrop for wedding photos. The general Spanish design of the house is basic yet sophisticated, with rich, dark wood framing the doorways and covering the floor and ceiling. The venue can hold up to 50 guests.
