Poplar Hall can host anything from a seated event for 190 people to an intimate birthday for a dozen. We have two levels, a mezzanine and main floor. One idea would be a reception on the mezzanine and seated dinner on the main floor. Or if you’d like to have a smaller event, we could seat 40 on the mezzanine. Mariner's Banquet Hall sits on 25 acres in Carlyle, Illinois, with a fishing pond, a private island, and access to the Governor's Run 18-Hole Golf Course. The recently renovated hall offers 6,000 square feet of event space and comfortably accommodates up to 300 guests for weddings, receptions, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, corporate functions, and church group events. A 1,600-square-foot wooden dance floor gives DJs and live bands room to work, and the hall is equipped with tables, chairs, linens, audio-visual equipment, and a podium for speeches and ceremonies. For an intimate ceremony, the property's private island accommodates 100 to 150 guests amid the fishing pond and surrounding greenery, with couples often moving from the island to the banquet hall for their reception. Renters are free to bring in their own caterer and decorator rather than choosing from a required list, and the venue is within easy reach of Mariner's Village Inn & Suites and log cottages for overnight stays.

Becket's has hosted weddings in its waterfront atrium hall along the Fox River in Oshkosh since 2008, with more than 2,500 celebrations held there to date. The eight-story atrium, located just adjacent to Becket's restaurant, seats up to 500 guests and opens onto a private riverside patio that also serves as an outdoor ceremony site. Only one event is booked per day, so couples have the full space and staff attention to themselves. Room rental is priced per guest rather than through a flat fee, with no minimums on food or beverage, and includes tables and chairs, linens and napkins in a couple's choice of color, chair covers, full setup and takedown, bars and bartenders, and china, flatware, and glassware. Catering is handled in-house with plated and buffet options, and off-site catering can also be arranged. Ceremonies on the riverside patio accommodate up to 250 seated guests and include a rain site and bridal suite. A preferred DJ partner and other local vendors are available to round out the day.

Givens Farm Estate is a wedding and event venue in the Wisconsin countryside near Hortonville, built around a Tuscan-inspired villa, vineyard, and gardens. The grounds include a plum orchard, a pond, and an iron truss bridge where ceremonies are held, all connected by a winding driveway leading up to the villa. The estate was established by Jim and Mariann, who shaped the property around Italian countryside aesthetics and a philosophy of homegrown hospitality passed down through generations. Current owners Brittney and Dustin have carried that legacy forward, hosting weddings, private gatherings, and community classes and events across the grounds. Couples can exchange vows in the gardens, by the orchard and pond, or on the bridge, with receptions held in the villa's grand hall by the fireplace, its screened porch, or under tents set up on the property. Beyond weddings, Givens Farm Estate hosts private dinners, bridal showers, and family reunions, along with recurring hands-on classes -- including pasta-making and wine-and-cheese workshops -- plus community events like the Givens Family Market and a fall festival. A wood-fired sauna and cold plunge experience is also offered on select days for groups of up to 12.

The EAA Aviation Museum sits on the EAA Aviation Center campus in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, home to a collection of more than 200 historic airplanes alongside galleries spanning the history of flight, from the Eagle Hangar's restored military aircraft to the Pioneers of Flight, Homebuilts & Van's RV, and SpaceShipOne exhibits. La Sure's Banquet Hall, Cakes, & Catering is a family-run event venue in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, tracing its roots to 1972, when Shirley "Sure" and Tom Heisler turned a home cake-decorating hobby into a bakery built around a proprietary French butter cream frosting recipe. The family added a café in 1982, and their son Bob and his wife Bev joined the business in 1985, growing the catering and cake-decorating sides of the operation. The current banquet hall opened at its Washburn Street location in April 2002, and the bakery moved on-site after the café closed in 2021. Today the venue hosts everything from intimate gatherings to formal dinners for up to 400 guests. The main hall can divide into four smaller rooms for more flexible group sizes, while the Ceremonial Garden offers a fenced, half-acre outdoor setting for up to 200 guests, centered on a raised white pergola and two fountains, with an indoor backup space available in case of weather. Full bar service and audio/visual equipment are available for events, and the in-house bakery — with more than 25 cake flavors and a history of decorating over two million cakes — handles everything from wedding cakes to everyday desserts for the more than 90,000 events La Sure's has catered.

Butte des Morts Country Club is a private country club in Appleton, Wisconsin, built around a golf course designed by Chicago architect W.C. Jackson and opened in 1924. Set on more than 140 private acres of sloping hills and wooded terrain along the Fox Cities, the club pairs its golf tradition with a 36,000-square-foot clubhouse built to host groups from three to 300. The club's grand Ballroom is reached by a staircase opening onto the clubhouse's upper floor and overlooks the golf course, with a bar area and an adjoining terrace for guests to enjoy before and after dinner. It accommodates wedding receptions, dinner-dances, parties, and corporate meetings for up to 300 guests, with wedding reception capacity of up to 280. Beyond the Ballroom, the clubhouse holds several additional gathering spaces, including the Hayes Family Library, a fireplace-warmed room with its own private bar, and the Fairway Room, outfitted with audio-visual equipment for business meetings and presentations. The Nature Center Pavilion at EAA sits pondside in a wooded area just east of the EAA Aviation Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, with easy access from Waukau Avenue and open grounds nearby for parking or group activities. The 6,000-square-foot pavilion, measuring 60 by 100 feet, is fitted with a PA system and overhead doors that can be opened to let in the sunshine or closed to keep out the weather, and its rustic decor can be customized to suit a couple's or host's theme. Picnic-table seating accommodates up to 300 guests, making the pavilion well suited to wedding receptions, company picnics, and other large outdoor gatherings. EAA's events team supports planning from the early stages through event day and can help arrange additional seating styles.
