Hancock Shaker Village is a living history museum on 750 acres at the base of the Berkshire Mountains in western Massachusetts, offering weddings and private events across a campus of twenty historic buildings. Heirloom vegetable and herb gardens, farm animals, and sweeping mountain views provide a setting unlike a conventional event venue. Event spaces range from the heirloom gardens — available for outdoor ceremonies and photographs — to The Timberframe, which accommodates up to 75 guests, and The Event Tent, which hosts up to 270 guests with views of the surrounding mountains and one of the oldest working farms in New England. The Village sits approximately two and a half hours from Boston and three hours from New York. Staff assist with events from bridal luncheons and rehearsal dinners through the wedding day itself, and the Village provides couples with a curated list of regional vendors including caterers, florists, photographers, videographers, sound rental, and entertainment.

The Belvedere Estate, situated on more than 25 acres in Westchester County, is a one-of-a-kind property. The estate consists of a large house and many smaller structures scattered over the grounds, all of which include excellent historical elements from the 1920s. A wooded region and cliff with views of the broad Hudson River and the Tappan Zee Bridge provide a range of lovely and peaceful vistas. The Belvedere was once part of Philipsburg Manor, a 90,000-acre property and one of America's richest landholdings, and was built in the 1910s. Dr. Philip Gillette Cole bought it in 1928 and renamed it Zeeview. It was built by Florence and Casper Whitney and purchased by Dr. Philip Gillette Cole in 1928. The home at Zeeview looked out over the huge Hudson River and the "Tappan Zee" with ease. The Coles erected the Agora House and the Studio on the land and displayed their significant collection of American Western art, which was ultimately moved to the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The estate was purchased by Samuel Bronfman of the Seagrams Whiskey dynasty after Cole's death. After the Bronfmans' primary mansion in Toronto, the property was christened Belvedere. Belvedere became the headquarters of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification in 1972. Timber Hill Farm is a farm-to-table wedding and event venue on Meetinghouse Hill in Gilford, New Hampshire, in the heart of the Lakes Region. The property has been farmed continuously since 1784 — one of the earliest homestead farms in the region — and includes a structure built in 1789 that still stands on its original foundation. In 2015, Isaac and Jennifer Howe transformed the working farm into an event venue; the Forsyth Family Farm now manages farming operations through a conservation partnership with Land for Good. At the heart of the property is the Howe Barn, a timber-framed structure built from scratch using mature white pine harvested from the farm's own forests, then milled, fitted, and raised on site by Andy and Isaac Howe alongside master timber framer Trevor Kupetz. The open-concept barn accommodates up to 180 guests and offers sweeping views of Lake Winnipesaukee and New Hampshire's Presidential Range. Timber Hill Farm hosts one event per week, giving each gathering the full attention of the property. We found a perfect cozy space at the end of an unused alley off the Bowery in the fall of 2004, and Freemans Restaurant was born. The restaurant's concept was to create a rough, secretive colonial American tavern. Early Americans imagined the cuisine to be simple, rustic, and inspired by Old World traditions. We've held everything from weddings and birthday parties to movie premieres, luncheons, wrap parties, bridal showers, and business dinners over the years. For seated dinner parties or cocktail celebrations, Freemans has three private rooms available. The entire second floor, including the drawing room, or the entire restaurant, can be rented for groups of 30 to 200 people. Our intimate working wine cellar provides an exceptional eating environment. In your own private wine cellar, seats 10-12 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner. In an elegant 2nd floor dining room, the Blue Room seats 13-20 guests for a sit-down lunch or dinner, or up to 30 guests for a cocktail reception. Ohana Family Camp is a week-long family retreat on Lake Fairlee in Vermont, run by the Aloha Foundation. Its name comes from the Hawaiian word for family, community, and a circle of good friends, and the camp brings families and friends of all ages together to reconnect outdoors. The property sits with the foothills of the Green Mountains to the west and Lake Fairlee below, with scenic back roads and hiking trails minutes away. Families stay in simple cabins with fieldstone fireplaces, kitchenettes, and one to four bedrooms, or in one of six platform tents with four twin beds each, electricity, and covered porches. The Mansion on James is a historic Italianate villa built in 1853 by George and Rebecca Barnes, situated on James Street in Syracuse, New York. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and recognized as a National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom site — the Barnes family sheltered freedom seekers in the basement and carriage house and hosted prominent abolitionist figures including Rev. Samuel Joseph May, Garrett Smith, and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. The George and Rebecca Barnes Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, assumed stewardship in 2009 and maintains the property as both a museum and a venue for private events. The mansion accommodates gatherings of up to 85 guests across its main level and outdoor grounds, which include an original gazebo from the late 1800s. The venue is available for weddings, intimate dinners, baby showers, corporate meetings, and fundraising events, with WiFi and a parking lot for up to 100 vehicles included with each rental.
