Your wedding will be more than just a wedding when you celebrate it at The Lake House Guest Cottages of The Berkshires, which offers a one-of-a-kind and cozy setting for your big day against the backdrop of the majestic and natural beauty of Pontoosuc Lake. Your big day will feel more like an experience than just a wedding. We are a venue for weekend events that can provide sleeping accommodations for up to 50 guests and space for up to 100 additional guests during the event itself. Our property has the capacity to host a total of 150 guests when used as an outdoor venue and our event tent, and it can accommodate 60 guests when the event is held entirely inside. Our event tent is completely brand new and features the latest in tent technology. It has lovely sides with large windows that can be sealed off, making it possible to hold celebrations and ceremonies regardless of the weather outside. The tent has some rudimentary lighting and a flooring made of artificial turf installed in it. However, if you rent the space, you can easily add additional lighting and decorations. No matter how you choose to plan your special day at the Lake House, you can rest assured that it will be situated in the heart of the Berkshires, with all of the stunning locations that the region is known for within a half-drive hour's of the property. The campus features a collection of thoughtfully designed buildings, including the glass-walled Clark Center and the tranquil Stone Hill, surrounded by rolling meadows, walking trails, and a reflecting pool that shifts beautifully with the seasons. Park-McCullough Historic Governor's Mansion is a 35-room Second Empire mansion in North Bennington, Vermont, built between 1864 and 1865 for attorney and entrepreneur Trenor W. Park. The home was later expanded and renovated in 1889-1890 by Park's daughter Eliza and her husband John G. McCullough to host President Benjamin Harrison's 1891 visit for the Bennington Monument dedication. Direct descendants lived in the house for a century until 1965, when it passed to the Park-McCullough House Association, and it is now recognized as one of New England's finest and best-preserved Victorian mansions. The property offers four main event spaces for weddings and private events: the historic mansion itself, formal manicured gardens, a wrap-around veranda for cocktails and touring, and a newly renovated Carriage Barn with a full catering kitchen, restrooms, a hardwood dance floor, heat, air conditioning, and wi-fi. The mansion and grounds host weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate retreats, nonprofit fundraisers, and celebrations of all kinds throughout the year. No vendor fees are charged, though food must come from a licensed restaurant or caterer and alcohol from a Vermont-licensed vendor.

Set in the hills of southern Vermont, Honora Winery & Vineyard blends Napa influences with New England traditions. The estate spans two locations: a tasting room in Jacksonville where visitors sample Honora's wines, and Avigliano at Honora, an elegant wedding venue on Collins Road in West Halifax that offers a modern setting for weddings and private events. Vineyard tours are available by appointment. Honora's wines have been recognized in competitions over the years, earning golds, silvers, and bronzes from the New York International Wine Competition, the Sunset International Wine Competition, the Grand Harvest Awards, and the Amenti de Vino International Wine Competition. In 2009, the winery received the Five Star Diamond Award for Hospitality from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.

Set in the farm country of southwestern Vermont, 1768 Hubbell Homestead at Colgate Park has been passed down through nine generations of Hubbell descendants and is owned and operated today by a direct descendant of James Colby Colgate. The property once played a small part in the American Revolutionary War and now overlooks the Bennington Battle Monument, with sweeping views of the Green Mountains framing the grounds. Weddings and private events take place under a large 60-by-90-foot tent with a cathedral ceiling, full windowed sidewalls, and a lighting package of pole-mounted canister lights and perimeter floor lighting, connected by stone walkways to a post-and-beam country amenities barn. The barn offers a receiving area, restrooms, and a wraparound porch furnished with rocking chairs overlooking the mountains and monument, while a patio just off the tent extends the celebration outdoors for cocktails and photos. Rentals include 150 ceremony chairs, 200 reception chairs, tables for 200 guests, a dance floor, farm tables, and a fully equipped catering kitchen, along with two nights of accommodations in the Hubbell Barn and onsite event supervision throughout the celebration.
