Porchlight is a New York bar with a Southern accent located in the historic Terminal Warehouse on Manhattan’s west side. KAI studio is a luxurious 6,000 square foot bi-level venue located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The Asian inspired design in this former storage warehouse, showcases custom hand carved woodworks from around the globe. The venue provides a blank canvas draped with soaring 30 foot white velour curtains throughout an open floor plan and luminous color downlighting to enhance any theme you can image. The Moxy Chelsea, located on 28th street between 6th and 7th Avenue, is home to 349 beautifully designed rooms. Featuring its original brick walls, towering wooden doors and high ceilings, 26 Bridge is a renovated former metal factory and is a versatile space for any special event. 26 Bridge seats around 250 people, and holds 375 for standing events. 26 Bridge has private event space that can be used for private events, weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, fashion shows, corporate events, and more. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is renowned not only for its unparalleled collection, but also for its grand landmarked building on Fifth Avenue at the edge of Central Park. The Museum's many unique spaces are ideal for a variety of events—from large corporate dinners and nonprofit galas, to meetings, film screenings, and, for Members, intimate private celebrations. Originally a residential block, the Dumbo neighborhood developed into a major factory area in the late 1800s-early 1900s. Soon, the manufacturer Edward H. Cole established it as one of the most industrial neighborhoods in the city. This brought in William Taylor & Sons Columbian Iron Works on Adams and Water Street, a sign making company, a brass foundry, a two-story machine shop and storage facility for E. W. Bliss and Phillips, Doup & Company. Many of these factories in the area were demolished to make way for the Manhattan Bridge. Luckily, the building at 155 Water Street wasn’t affected by the construction of the bridge and has a long history of manufacturing ironworks and other materials. In 1905, Edward Cole used the factory to make steam fittings then leasing out the property to Phillips, Doup & Company, who built steam heaters. Cole sold the building in 1920 to L&H Stern, manufacturers of smoking pipes and accessories. The company used the lower floors as offices and the upstairs as the production space. The simple brick facade, articulated by segmental openings and projecting lintels and sills, marks 155 Water Street as an example of the American round arch style. Additionally, the slow-burning mill construction and history make it an amazing representative of American factory architecture – contributing greatly to the character of the Dumbo Historic District.

An Unrivaled Setting for Private Events Cipriani South Street at the Battery Maritime Building is the new home to New York’s most exciting and important gatherings. The renaissance of this magnificent architectural treasure was led by the internationally acclaimed design house of Thierry Despont, whose other well-known historical restoration projects include the Ritz Hotel in Paris, the Statue of Liberty, the Carlyle Hotel and the Woolworth Building in New York City among others. An abundance of unique details have been beautifully preserved throughout the building including the expansive patterned glass ceiling in the Great Hall, the Guastavino tile arches of the loggia, hundreds of mullioned glass windows, and exposed period ironwork. The second floor events complex includes a private arrival foyer and grand staircase, two separate pre-function rooms, and the 9,000 square foot Great Hall which accommodates up to 800 seated guests. Windowed pre-function spaces filled with natural light offer separate spaces for cocktails, ceremonies and breakout meetings, including a rare outdoor loggia spanning the full length of the building facade. Two private green rooms, each with panoramic views of the East River, complete the scene.

Weylin is the product of the recent award winning restoration of the iconic Williamsburgh Savings Bank. The bank was originally built in 1875 by renowned architect George B. Post and interiors designed by Peter B. Wight. Now operating as one of the city’s premier venues, Weylin acts as a multifunctional cultural and community hub. Weylin’ s spectacular frescoed dome, intricate mosaics, wooden carvings, and period decor make it the perfect backdrop for a diverse array of events from weddings and galas to performances, art shows and experiential activations. “As sumptuous as a jewel box suspended 110 feet over the mosaic marble floor, and as radiant as a peacock’s plumage, the great dome of the former Williamsburgh Savings Bank headquarters at Broadway and Driggs Avenue once again inspires awe.” – The New York Times
