Bailey House and its surrounding grounds, which can accommodate up to 75 guests for wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, and private events, has been transformed into a stunning venue. The Bayside Historical Society makes its home in The Castle, a Gothic Revival landmark building completed in 1887 as the Officers' Club for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Fort Totten in Bayside, Queens. Designated a New York City landmark in 1974 and listed on the State and National Registers of Historic Places in 1986, the building has served as the Society's base of operations since 1984 following a major restoration.
