Pío Pico State Historic Park preserves the restored adobe home of Pío de Jesus Pico, the last Mexican governor of California, on a five-acre property in Whittier that was once part of his 9,000-acre Rancho Paso de Bartolo. The site is registered as California Historic Landmark No. 127 and offers a rare window into mid-19th-century California history. The grounds feature the fifteen-room adobe residence with interpretive displays, a traditional horno (bread oven), a dovecote, and historic gardens — making it a distinctive outdoor setting for weddings, ceremonies, and private events. The property is ADA accessible and includes restrooms, parking, and picnic areas. Special events are coordinated through the Los Angeles District Special Events team, and the park's events team handles availability, pricing, and permitting for private rentals.

Because Amy Schonheit (24, who works in the arts) and David Schonheit (24, who works in engineering) both have a passion for the outdoors, they chose to have their wedding ceremony at San Moritz Lodge in Crestline, California, which was surrounded by woodlands. As much as Amy and David adored the color teal, they decided to combine it with other hues to create a palette that blended in with nature—from the bridesmaid dresses, which came in a variety of styles and lengths, to the greenery that accented the sides of the wooden ceremony archway—to create a palette that blended in with nature. Amy desired a wedding gown that was simple yet elegant, and she found the perfect strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline that she accessorized with a silver belt. Amy and her husband were married in a simple yet elegant ceremony. Small wooden birdhouse-shaped props painted with numbers were placed at each dining table in the rustic building of the San Moritz Lodge to help guests find their seats when they arrived. Floral centerpieces, wheat, and small votive candles were arranged on top of burlap and lace that was draped across the middle of the tables to create a soft, romantic atmosphere. Featuring green leaves carefully placed on the surface of each layer and a tree-shaped topper, the two-tier white wedding cake perched on top of a tree trunk embodied the natural vibe of the day. More Mother Nature-inspired details can be found in the gallery below. At San Moritz Lodge in Crestline, California, the reception was held in the rustic space of the lodge's rustic space. It was designed to look like a log cabin, complete with wooden ceilings, stone walls, and brown carpeted floors, among other things.

Heritage Park is a six-acre historic venue in Santa Fe Springs, California, set on the restored grounds of the Hawkins Ranch, which prospered in the 1880s. The city of Santa Fe Springs reconstructed the park's Victorian-era landscape using historic photographs, resulting in a setting that includes beautifully landscaped gardens with lattice arches and cherub statuary, water fountains, a carriage barn built in the Gothic style, and a plant-filled conservatory that serves as a popular backdrop for wedding ceremonies. The park accommodates a variety of events — from wedding ceremonies and receptions to photo sessions, corporate picnics, and private parties. The Plant Conservatory, originally built around 1870, provides an intimate ceremony setting, while the historic Carriage Barn and surrounding park grounds suit larger gatherings. In 1993, we purchased Arrowhead Road Resort and renamed it Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabin, after a pine cone that grows on the site and resembles a rose. After a gorgeous oak tree died, we created our distinctive log and branch gazebo at Hidden Creek, which was located at the base of a natural amphitheater, making it the ideal place for weddings. Jolene's father wanted to create her a dream wedding venue when she decided to get married in 2007. As a result, we put a lot of thought and attention into the design of our website. More decking and a cake gazebo were installed. A water feature was one of Jolene's top priorities for her wedding. So her father constructed a year-round stream and pond for her. The Clarke Estate was built as the home of Chauncey and Marie Rankin Clarke in 1919. A wealthy, socially prominent couple, they hired architect Irving Gill to build their country home on 60 acres of citrus groves in Santa Fe Springs. Gill built this elegant house in an unusual style for the era.
