The old leather couch and forest-themed backdrop behind it provide warmth to the space, while the richly grained dark wood tables offer playfulness. With audio/visual capabilities, the tiny area is ideal for both celebrations and business events. The Loyalist Meets Smyth is a unique way to experience a private dinner that we have developed. This innovative family-style dining experience marries The Loyalist's French-inspired meals with Smyth's culinary vision to create an engaging, convivial evening of exceptional bites. The chefs carefully create each menu based on seasonality and frequently include delicacies not found at either restaurant. This one-of-a-kind, family-style experience may accommodate up to twenty people. The ocean's bounty is featured boldly and gently throughout the menu at Smyth, and innovation ebbs and flows from it. Our private dinner experience begins with a half-hour of canapés and beverages, followed by a ten-course seated tasting menu. A buyout of our light and airy main dining area can accommodate larger gatherings. We are a modest business run by a Chicago native with a long family history in the maritime industry. The "Summer of George" was created with the intention of being a party boat. The 100-foot, two-story yacht is available for guests to experience. Cocktail tables and bench seating are set up on the open-air rooftop terrace. It's ideal for relaxing and taking in the scenery, as well as dancing the night away. The climate-controlled lower deck allows passengers to sail in comfort regardless of the weather. On both sides, enormous mahogany-trimmed windows provide 360-degree vistas for sightseeing. This level also houses the restrooms and the main bar. There are a variety of floor plans to choose from. The boat is in River City Marina, 900 South Wells Street, and beneath Bertrand Goldberg's famous "River City" structure. On the South Branch of the Chicago River, it's about 6 blocks south of the "Willis Tower," also known as the "Sears Tower." Our goal at Chicago Lakefront Cruises is to provide the finest level of service to our customers. Being on board our yacht is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and we'll make sure it's one you and your guests will never forget! We are dedicated to ensuring that our customers are satisfied! The journey begins on the Chicago River's South Branch. The boat then travels up the Main Branch of the Chicago River and out to Lake Michigan. Navy Pier, The John Hancock Building, Buckingham Fountain, and the Adler Planetarium are just a few of the sights that you and your guests will see! The "Summer of George" is a vessel that has been certified by the United States Coast Guard. All passengers will have access to life rafts and life jackets. The vessel is piloted by licensed 100-ton captains and is inspected annually by the USCG. CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are held by the entire crew.

Beatrix is a coffeehouse, restaurant, and gathering spot in the Chicago districts of River North, Streeterville, Fulton Market, and Oak Brook. Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises' Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs, and Chef Partners John Chiakulas, Rita Dever, and Susan Weaver are the brains behind the restaurant. The menu is noted for its famous coffee and bakery counter, which includes signature cookies and in-house pastry favorites, and for its healthy meets tasty alternatives. Our coffee bar features Beatrix Coffee Roasters' house blends, which include Medium, Dark, Espresso, and Decaf roasts. Barista-created lattes, Bulletproof Coffee, Cold Brew Iced Coffee, Nitro, and featured special blends are all part of the coffee program. Honey Cinnamon Latte, Matcha Iced Latte, and Mexican Iced Coffee are all favorites. The Boathouse, located on the banks of Lake Ellyn in west suburban Glen Ellyn, is the ideal location for your next corporate or social occasion. The lovely lake's shore is ablaze with natural vegetation that complements the present season, and the big deck off the east side of the Boathouse offers breathtaking views of the lake and its inhabitants. This adaptable room can sit up to 120 people comfortably, or up to 150 people without tables. When hiring the Boathouse, you can also hire the adjacent patio and deck (for an extra price). The Lake Ellyn Boathouse is entirely accessible to those with disabilities; contact for more info on specific accommodations. From the beginning of March to the middle of December, the Boathouse is available for rent seven days a week. The Boathouse can be reserved up to a year ahead of time. All tours are by appointment only and are typically available Monday through Friday during regular office hours. During your contract hours, you and/or your caterer have access to the facilities and kitchen amenities (refrigerator, freezer, warming oven, ice machine, microwave, and bar refrigerator). Our table and chair inventory, in-house audio system, garbage bags and removal, and facilities staff to manage your event are all included in your rental. This Beaux-Arts station's meticulously refurbished event halls are ideal for every size and style of occasion, from small corporate meetings to big galas and weddings. The Great Hall In 2019, a $22 million restoration of the Great Hall was finished, returning the area to its original colors and brightening it with a repaired and protected skylight. The North Great Hall or the South Great Hall can be rented. Depending on the date and approval, the entire space may be available. The Burlington Room This unusual chamber, which was once a women's waiting room and beauty parlor, has been closed to the public and utilized as a railroad "paper storage" in recent decades. Fortunately for us, the area was painstakingly rebuilt in 2016 and relaunched as a private event venue known as The Burlington Room. The room's magnificent ceiling, champagne-colored columns, and French block murals have been painstakingly restored to their early 19th century luxury, ready to enchant guests with an old-world grandeur that is unique in Chicago. Founders Room This lovely area was once the Legacy Club, a members-only lounge that was open to the public for a daily or monthly charge. In 2019, it was converted to private event space as part of Union Station's expansion of event spaces. This lovely space, now known as the Founders Room, has towering ceilings, great workmanship, and plenty of natural light, making it ideal for any gathering. Pennsylvania Room On the second floor of the Metropolitan Lounge sits the famous Pennsylvania Room.
