Located just outside of Los Angeles in Ventura County, in the city of Simi Valley, Quail Ranch is a family-run avocado ranch that has been in operation for over 40 years. Stone Manor Estate & Gardens offers event spaces for your next celebration in Malibu, California. Stone Manor, located high in the Malibu hills, is a little closer to heaven than most places, and it boasts a view that is commensurate with its close proximity to Paradise. The estate, which sits in a secluded cove at the end of its own private road, commands sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, which stretches from Catalina Island to Santa Monica Bay. Moreover, while the panoramic vista is undoubtedly something to behold, the house and grounds are equally impressive. The mansion, with its thick walls and stone façade, is reminiscent of an English manor house in its design and layout. It presides over a series of formally landscaped terraces that step down to the edge of the property and are all set against the backdrop of the sea and the sky, respectively. Later, the Rindge family owned 17,000 acres and 20 miles of coastline and constructed a beach house, now the historic Adamson House museum, there. The Spanish Colonial Revival style home is now a National Historic Site, California Historical Landmark, and a California State Park. Built in 1929, it occupies one of the most idyllic oceanfront spots in all of Southern California. Situated near the Malibu Pier between popular Surfrider Beach and the Malibu Lagoon, the house boasts an exotic mix of Spanish and Moorish influences with dazzling displays of decorative tiles and one-of-a-kind craftsmanship including hand-carved doors, hand-painted frescoes, molded ceilings, distinctive cast ironwork and lead-framed bottle glass windows. Weddings, receptions and special events are scheduled from March through November and take place on the beautiful oceanfront property: the sycamore lawn, the front courtyard, and the rear lawn by the star fountain. All events are held outdoors, not inside Adamson House. If you would like to give your guests the opportunity to see the interior tile and house collections, State Parks can coordinate a special tour with our docent program. We offer an "open" house tour during your cocktail hour, with an additional cost of 500 dollars. A permit for this tour can be included in the wedding contract by the state wedding coordinator. We recommend that couples looking to rent this venue visit the park, walk the ocean front property, and take a tour of the house itself. Seeing the historic beach house full of Malibu Potteries tile and hearing the history of the last family to own all of Malibu is remarkable. The grounds are open to the public, seven days a week from 8 am to sunset. There is no parking on-site; however you can park in the LACO Surfrider Beach parking lot in front of the property, or in the Malibu Lagoon Beach lot across the bridge.

Orcutt Ranch Horticultural Center is a 24-acre historic estate managed by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, located at 23600 Roscoe Boulevard in West Hills. The property was originally the vacation retreat of oil pioneer William Warren Orcutt, and its Spanish Colonial Revival residence — completed around 1926 — features glazed tiles imported from Mexico and carved mahogany and walnut woodwork from the Philippines. The grounds include a seasonal rose garden, a 700-year-old Coast Live Oak, wandering nature trails, a citrus orchard, a rustic barn, a courtyard fountain, and a gazebo. The venue accommodates events for 40 to 300 guests, making it well-suited for weddings, receptions, anniversaries, and private celebrations. Rental facilities are available daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and a guest house with two separate dressing rooms is available for the bridal party. Acoustic music is permitted throughout the outdoor grounds, and DJs may perform indoors. Rentals are coordinated directly through the Orcutt Ranch office.
