Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook is a 58-acre California State Park perched at 420 feet elevation in Culver City, southwest of downtown Los Angeles. From the summit, panoramic views sweep across the Los Angeles Basin, the Pacific Ocean, the Santa Monica and San Gabriel Mountains, and the Palos Verdes Peninsula — a setting that makes it one of the most distinctive event venues in the region. The park's Visitor Center houses a glass-and-concrete pavilion, a native plant garden, a Skyline Terrace, a small theater, and a conference room — collectively accommodating gatherings from intimate meetings to receptions of up to 200 guests. The Pavilion and its adjacent outdoor spaces are available for weddings, corporate retreats, educational events, and cultural celebrations. Rentals include tables, chairs, and on-site parking. All food service must be provided by a licensed caterer, and the facility is fully accessible. The Sepulveda Screening Room is a professional screening facility located at 1640 South Sepulveda Boulevard in West Los Angeles, operated by Screening Services Group under the direction of guild and studio projectionist Michael S. Hall, who brings more than 48 years of industry experience to the facility. The venue is part of a union-affiliated network ranked highest among small screening rooms by Variety magazine. The main theater seats 65 to 71 guests on stadium-style cushioned seats and supports an extensive range of professional formats including Dolby ATMOS, DCP 2D and 3D, 4K Christie DLP, Blu-ray, and HDCAM-SR, with a screen measuring up to 12'6" by 23'9". Additional rentable spaces include an art gallery and a patio available on evenings and weekends. The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, and offers free Wi-Fi and underground parking.

Founded in 1926 by Los Angeles Athletic Club members, The Riviera Country Club sits on 1250 Capri Drive in Pacific Palisades, California, overlooking the canyons and coastline of the Santa Monica Mountains. The championship 18-hole golf course, designed by George C. Thomas and opened in 1927, consistently ranks among the top 50 courses in the world and the top 25 in the United States. The Spanish revival-style clubhouse followed in 1928 and remains the social heart of the property. The club hosts the PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational each year and will serve as the official Olympic golf venue for the 2028 Los Angeles Games. Beyond golf, Riviera operates one of the largest tennis facilities in the Western United States, with 24 courts and one of the country's most active teaching programs. Set within an eco-chic space designed by owner Catherine An, the venue combines Vietnamese-inspired flavors with a warm, modern aesthetic — high honeycomb ceilings, raw concrete floors, and reclaimed wood panels lend the interiors a distinctive character, while a lush outdoor garden patio brings open-sky charm to gatherings of all kinds. Three distinct spaces accommodate events ranging from intimate private dinners to large-scale receptions and corporate functions. The Patio, an outdoor garden surrounded by herbs, mature trees, and vibrant plant life, hosts up to 220 seated or 400 standing guests. The Indoors offers a transformable layout with 211 café seats, 17 bar seats, and capacity for 300 guests at a standing reception. The Private Dining Room seats up to 16 guests around a reclaimed wood table and is available with personalized chef-crafted menus. Weekends and evenings are dedicated exclusively to private events. Friendly Hills Country Club is a private country club situated in the rolling hills of Whittier, California, approximately 15 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. Established in 1968, the club occupies a parklike setting that includes a championship golf course designed by renowned architect Jimmy Hines, lush grounds lined with grand pine trees and flowering jasmine, and a stone-faced bridge over a scenic lake — all of which serve as natural backdrops for weddings and private events. The club's Craftsman-style clubhouse spans two levels and accommodates celebrations from 25 to 230 guests. The upper level features 17-foot vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, an indoor lounge with a full-service built-in bar, a baby grand piano, and a customizable dance floor. Outdoor ceremony space is available at the 1st Tee Island, which overlooks a waterfall and the golf course. The venue's culinary program is led by an executive chef who customizes menus for each event. Beyond weddings, Friendly Hills Country Club hosts anniversary parties, milestone birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs, graduation celebrations, corporate meetings, and golf tournaments. The Jones sisters, Leslie and LeAnn, like to spend a typical night out in Los Angeles at some of their favorite restaurants, where they can enjoy delicious food, excellent wine, and the company of good friends. Leslie, a luxury wedding planner, and LeAnn, an attorney, had grown tired of having to travel outside of their neighborhood in order to partake in activities such as eating and drinking delicious food and wine. The sisters came up with the idea to launch 1010 Wine and Events based on Leslie's prior experience in the hospitality industry and LeAnn's knowledge of wine as well as her passion for the beverage. In the middle of Leslie and LeAnn's hometown of Inglewood, California, which is also their current home, you'll find the upscale wine bar known as 1010 Wine. Leslie and LeAnn both grew up in this city. The City of Champions is home to only one wine bar, and that establishment is 1010 Wine. The Jones Sisters can't wait to have foodies and wine enthusiasts from all over the city visit their neighborhood so they can show them a place that is truly unique without them even having to leave their neighborhood. Heritage Park is a six-acre historic venue in Santa Fe Springs, California, set on the restored grounds of the Hawkins Ranch, which prospered in the 1880s. The city of Santa Fe Springs reconstructed the park's Victorian-era landscape using historic photographs, resulting in a setting that includes beautifully landscaped gardens with lattice arches and cherub statuary, water fountains, a carriage barn built in the Gothic style, and a plant-filled conservatory that serves as a popular backdrop for wedding ceremonies. The park accommodates a variety of events — from wedding ceremonies and receptions to photo sessions, corporate picnics, and private parties. The Plant Conservatory, originally built around 1870, provides an intimate ceremony setting, while the historic Carriage Barn and surrounding park grounds suit larger gatherings. A restored AT&SF steam locomotive and railroad caboose add a distinctive character to the site. The caboose itself is available as a rentable event space for smaller celebrations. The Clarke Estate was built as the home of Chauncey and Marie Rankin Clarke in 1919. A wealthy, socially prominent couple, they hired architect Irving Gill to build their country home on 60 acres of citrus groves in Santa Fe Springs. Gill built this elegant house in an unusual style for the era.

As landscape and garden designers, we offer a wide range of services to commercial and residential clients. We also create interior and exterior commissions, floral and plant arrangements for special events, and boutique gathering and event spaces in both Venice, California, and Austin, Texas. Owner and principal designer, Selena Souders, along with her team of designers and construction crew, create and implement a variety of extraordinary landscape, hardscape, and gardening solutions for both residential and commercial spaces, starting with the initial design concept.
