Happy Days Lodge sits within Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Peninsula, Ohio — about 30 minutes from both Cleveland and Akron. Built in 1938 by Civilian Conservation Corps Company 576, the lodge is considered one of the world's largest structures constructed from wormy American chestnut, with a sandstone floor and fireplaces hewn from locally quarried Berea Sandstone. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and represents a distinctive example of CCC "parkitecture," characterized by horizontal lines, low silhouettes, and the use of natural regional materials. The centerpiece of the lodge is the 4,000-square-foot Great Hall, which accommodates up to 200 seated guests beneath exposed beams and a mason jar chandelier. A screened-in porch adjoins the hall, looking out over a rolling meadow. Surrounding grounds provide access to miles of trails within the national park, making Happy Days Lodge well suited to weddings, meetings, retreats, and private celebrations of all kinds. The lodge is operated by the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park; rental proceeds support trail maintenance, volunteer programs, and outdoor education in the park.

The Inn at Brandywine Falls is a historic Greek Revival home built in 1848, listed on the National Register of Historic Homes. It sits within Cuyahoga Valley National Park, just steps from Brandywine Falls, surrounded by the park's woods and trails. The property offers six guest suites across the original farmhouse and a renovated carriage barn, each with a private bath and its own historic character, along with a full breakfast each morning. Beyond overnight stays, the Inn hosts small gatherings such as private meetings, overnight retreats, elopements, family and friend reunions, and afternoon teas, with space for up to 22 guests. New innkeepers took over the property in April 2023, continuing its role as a quiet, historic retreat inside the national park after 36 years under previous ownership.

The Natatorium's Conference & Banquet Center is part of a 116,000-square-foot recreational facility in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, operated by the City of Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department. The center is equipped to host gatherings ranging from intimate groups to events of up to 300 guests. The facility offers two dedicated event rooms — the Cuyahoga Room and the Hopewell Room — which can be used individually or opened together. The Cuyahoga Room features vaulted ceilings and a wooden dance floor alongside a small caterer's kitchen and projector screen, accommodating up to 70 guests. The Hopewell Room is a carpeted space with a large caterer's kitchen and a projector screen, accommodating up to 60 guests. Combined, the two rooms host events of up to 150 guests. Outside catering and alcohol are permitted with a uniformed officer on duty, and one-time event setup is included with every rental. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance.

Roses Run Country Club is a Tudor-style clubhouse and 18-hole public golf facility set in quiet, natural surroundings along the scenic Cuyahoga River in Stow, Ohio. The property's rustic character and pastoral setting make it a distinctive choice for weddings, receptions, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations in Northeast Ohio. Three banquet rooms — the Derby, the Belmont, and the Preakness — give event planners flexibility across a range of group sizes. The Derby Room is the largest, accommodating up to 300 guests beneath a vaulted ceiling, with a dance floor and many windows looking out over the golf course. The Belmont and Preakness Rooms each hold up to 150 guests individually and can be reserved together for larger events. The full facility accommodates up to 700 guests. Professional event planners are on hand to coordinate each event, and valet parking is available.

Hale Farm & Village is a living history museum operated by the Western Reserve Historical Society, set on 90 acres within Cuyahoga Valley National Park between Cleveland and Akron. The property encompasses 32 mid-19th-century historic structures arranged around a preserved village green, offering a setting unlike conventional event venues. Multiple spaces accommodate gatherings across a wide range of sizes. The climate-controlled Gatehouse Visitor's Center seats up to 220 guests and can connect to the adjacent Mary Jane Davis Hartwell Community Room, which holds 75. The restored 1852 Meetinghouse chapel — the focal point of the historic East Side village — seats up to 170. The open-air Carriage Pavilion, perched on a hill overlooking the farm, accommodates 120 to 150 guests, while the Carriage Manufactory, a two-story red barn with a collection of antique carriages on its first floor, seats 75 on its upper level. For larger events, the Full Farm package combines both the West Side and East Side of the property. Free parking is available for all events. Hale Farm & Village hosts weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate gatherings, holiday parties, reunions, and a range of other private celebrations, with rental hours available after public hours.

Founded in 1894, Portage Country Club ranks among the top ten oldest clubs in America — an institution born during Akron's rubber industry boom that has operated continuously for more than a century. The Tudor-style clubhouse, designed by Chicago architect Howard Shaw and formally opened in 1906, has been painstakingly preserved through two rebuilds after separate fires, each time restoring rather than replacing the original character. Private events at Portage are hosted in the Directors Room and the Ballroom, whose majestic views set the stage for wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations, corporate dinners, and milestone gatherings. The club's private rooms collectively accommodate up to 500 guests. An Executive Chef and pastry team design custom menus for each event, and a dedicated Events Manager guides clients through planning and vendor coordination from first inquiry through event day.
